Had covid not happened, this would have been the Heat 2nd 50+ win season in 3 years with Jimmy. Drafting Bam and Tyler then acquiring Jimmy in a 3 year span really got this franchise back where they need to be after a few mediocre years after Bron left

Hate to see it. Man is on an 8-15 run and he’s losing his shit.

Well Harden and Embiid did have 65 points on 16 made FG’s. It’s pretty sickening watching Harden “play basketball” it’s like watching a scam artist and refs keep rewarding him. He just flops around the entire game. It’s why Harden will never win a title, he is a fraud.
I do assume that is partly due to a frustrating season full of injuries occurring over and over. Terrible luck.

I would just challenge you to show me any of those calls that aren’t a foul. The whole 4th quarter they isolated Markannen with Embiid or Harden and got anything they wanted. The Cavs went to the line 34 times themselves.

Nets ain't all that... They got a sound FO and there's hope they can legit compete for a title next year, but too much drama in that market and too many games not living up to the names.

Not so bold prediction: They're gonna blow it up this offseason. They'll keep Mitchell, ship out Gobert, get a new coach, the works

Shipping out Golbert may not be a good idea. He seems far less likely to demand a trade. Imaging deciding to ship out Golbert then Mitchell request a trade next offseason. I don't think the same will take place if they focus on trading Mitchell

It's better to build around Mitchell. Golbert is limited player and his liabilities cap their ceiling. He's a defensive force but he's just not well rounded enough to be the #2 on a championship caliber team. But he is good enough to get you plenty of pieces back to start building a more interesting team around Mitchell. And he's under contract until 2026 so they've got time.

Dubs finally reached the 50 win mark.
Something they should've/could've possibly done 2 weeks ago.
But hey...better late than never....and I'll gladly take it, TYVM.
They have 3 (all winnable) games to go before the postseason begins.
Home for the Lakers....then @Spurs, & @Pelicans.

Either way it's extremely close. Could see Giannis make a late push also.

I guess if it's me I go with Joel to award a first timer to break the tie

Based on those two big games I was thinking Giannis too but here’s the thing. Bucks still haven’t won their 50th game yet. If Giannis is really the MVP with all his pieces that won an NBA title they should be up there with the Suns. Embiid is MVP but he won’t win it. The MVorP will win it.
