It's not the flu though. And it never was. There was only one person that started that lie.

And I hope for your sake and the people around you, family & friends, that you never get the virus. Because if you do you'll spread it.

With the vaccine your chances of getting it and passing it on are greatly reduced. And that was the point of the vaccines from day one. Nobody has ever said getting vaxxed means 100% protection.

I've had Covid already, for me it was minor symptoms. I have not known anyone that I've been in contact with that has been greatly impacted by Covid (seriously ill/death). This is following the same path as the flu, that is my point, and as we're seeing recent variants, they're becoming less severe; the same path the flu has taken. And again, we're in disagreement on the transmission rates between vaxed vs un-vaxed; there has not been resounding evidence presented pointing towards a great disparity between either.

I'll tell ya, if only there were a thread that was discussing this......

So does Jimmy, but Udonis is bigger.

Jimmy probably made him a bubble coffee after the game, so it is probably all good now. lol

When he retires will he go from Jimmy Buckets to Jimmy Barista?

Suns clinched a tie for the best record in the NBA, so they only need one more win or a Grizzlies loss.

if you think they are more accountable "to the stars in the locker room" then the league office you are certifiably an idiot.

but- time will prove it. No way they pay the fine. It wont happen. If it was even a possibility it would have already happened.

Tlance reply: You are such an ass.

And wrong.

Why would the league office step in here?

There are like 4 NBA cities that have vaccine mandates affecting their players.

Silver has said he wasn’t going to interfere in any way with local legislation.

Now the local legislation provides a loophole for Kyrie to play.

Me: Jan 17th:
they wont pay the fine. It would be a PR nightmare for them in so many ways.

Also- the NBA office would never let them. IT would open up a slippery slope for all players.

Me: Jan 17th:

hey- I agree- if it was an option for them- competitively they should do it.

But they wont. There is a bigger picture.

The fines are nothing money-wise. There is a reason they have nt done it yet- and that is because of A. the league office, B. the precedent it would set, and C. it would be a PR nightmare.

then Fighting FunBags: Disagree. It’s their pathway to competing for a championship. Do you even sports? In every major league you see guys who have sexually assaulted women, beaten women, driven drunk, etc…teams still sign those guys if they make their team better. They bite the PR bullet because everybody forgets when they win. And now we’re talking about something like vaxx or not vaxx? I think your projection is absurd. I don’t know when it will kick in but the only way Irving misses a playoff game is if he is injured. Nets wouldn’t batt an eyelash at paying those fines.

Then Tlance Jan 17th:

Exactly.

Teams have employed convicted felons and Antonio Brown to win games. And their fans tend to support those decisions when the guy can play.

It gets much worse.

Who cares if they get some flak from non-basketball fans.

Then Tlance:

LOL.

You are a fool if you think they won’t ever pay this fine.

Maybe Kyrie gets the jab and makes it all moot.

But they are accountable to the stars in the locker room first and foremost.

How do you think KD responds when they lose in the playoffs with Kyrie only playing road games?

Besides, the law is an arbitrary one. It is inconsistent with the laws in other NBA cities and only randomly affects a few teams.

I am as pro vax as it gets, and I think the Nets would be stupid to not pay the fine.

basically just go read this to see how right I was and how wrong Tlance was.

Are you not entertained? That answer your question?

nope. Never will do it.

anyone saying this, including you and @tlance really does not get it and are not looking at the big picture.

basically I was 100% spot on and @tlance and @fightinfunbags were 100% wrong.

Of course you're right and everyone else is wrong. Some examples of your 100% spot-on rightness.

Hey exactly which year will the Cavs turn things around before the Heat?

LeBron's prime passed him up the moment he went to Los Angeles right? That's what you said when he broke your heart for a second time.

How many years ago did Riley loose his fastball?

And LeBron's legacy was totally ruined because he didn't get an injured Lakers squad to the playoffs his first year with the team right?

wrong

I said 0% chance that the Nets pay a fine to let him play. This is where either you do not have the intelligence, or wherewithal, or both, for a nuanced argument.
The Nets had no choice. The NBA didn’t let them, information we weren’t aware of when we had the discussion the first time. Kyrie Irving will be playing in playoff home games. You were wrong.

I wasnt aware of that information either but hit the nail right on top of the fucking head- saying the league would never allow it when that information was not public yet. I got the receipts. Just read above.

@Heatles84 @bksballer89

What happened during last night's Heat game?

Jimmy Butler gets into altercation with Eric Spoelstra, Udonis Haslem during loss

Article says Spo & Haslem had to held back during a TO. And that Jimmy Buckets challenged Spo to a fight.

A little dust up. Playing like shit this week and everyone mad

Pre Watson to the Browns he was adamant that Watson was a horrible person and was glad that he wasn’t a Brown.
Now that Watson is a Brown he has regaled us with stories of the grand jury making the accusers sound like liars. Now 22 accusers of sexual assault are all great big liars and Watson will be on the short list for NFL Man of the Year.
after acquiring him I of course have tried to dig into the information

and again- this generalization is inaccurate and unfair.

What I read was that of the 9 people that had their accusations brought to the grand jury- over half bragged on social media and or text message about how much money they would make, and over half expressed that they enjoyed working with Watson and would work with him again in messages to WAtson.

Not sure how that becomes "Wiggy said all 22 were liars". Maybe you can parse that for me?

You posted 3 conditionals and only one of them came to be and ironically it was information that was already out there that tlance and I were unaware of. It's likely that you already were. You were wrong on your claims of fear of setting precedent and a PR nightmare. Meanwhile, your major point that Kyrie would be unavailable for playoff home games is wrong. Right now, you're the South flexing on winning a small skirmish when you ultimately lose the war.

You already did my work for me with this post. Maybe my claim is exaggerated. It's immaterial. What is evident is that you're a homer and that makes you inconsistent. You were very much anti-Watson and now you're looking to explain away his issues.
