Harmon, Collins and Shelton to the Lions, Karras and Van Noy to the Dolphins, Brady to the Bucs.

Ther Patriots roster is taking some pretty harsh hits.

I find it odd that no one can quite tell for sure what exactly the Duron Harmon trade is other than a "swap of late round picks." Does that mean that the Lions are giving up their 3rd round pick in 2020?

The fans of teams around the country are laughing like hell because they think that Patriots will be the worst possible team in the NFL in 2020.

Some things to think about:

The Patriots are not going to trade for a veteran QB. The supply of QBs is much greater than the demand. Why give the Bengals a pick for a guy that will have to release if they are going to draft Burrow? Why trade for Cam Newton because the Panthers have to release him when they sign Bridgewater. Why trade for Jameis Winston when the Bucs have to dump him with Brady aboard. The Bears will have to do the same with Trubinsky. How about this one? Philip Rivers is being signed by the Co9lts. Think BB has talked to Jacoby Brissett?

BB didn't go hard for Ted Karras. Will David Andrews actually be ready to come back? Does BB have another center stuck under someone's back porch?

The Patriots are suddenly getting much younger.

How about some cheap additions to fill a few holes:

Once it became known that Brady was headed to Tampa, I had to laugh at how quickly the Patriots were placed at the very bottom of the AFC East by all of the 'experts' and prognosticators.

The Buffalo Bills have been declared the 2020 AFC East Champions and have been bestowed with a 11-5 record. They haven't said which five teams that they will lose to, but I would guess, SF, SEA, KC, TEN, PIT? or AZ? Then again, won't there be 17 games? So maybe these gifted folks might want to go back to school and find two numbers that add up to 17. Like 10-7, 9-8, 6-11 or even 12-5 or 13-4.

No one thinks that BB can repair the damage and the Patriots will be fortunate to be 7-9 or 8-8. (new math)




Of course, the fact that Brady hasn't signed and all of a sudden they've hit a contract glitch in Tampa is irrelevant. Wouldn't that be the shits if Brady said no and signed with the Raiders instead?
