Watt hits 150 MM.
Yep. Steelers would be wise to do it ASAP too... There are some big names floating in contract years that could drive the market up even further.

FAs next year:
Von Miller
Yannick Ngakoue
Shaq Barrett
Matt Judon

I didn't realize they had nothing at safety behind the starters so sort of glad they made this move.
They have a plethora of SS, but behind Minkah there’s nobody that fits very well. They have been putting Sutton & Hilton back there the last couple years in practice.

Meh. I'll believe this when I see it. Always thought his ceiling was too low to be an impact player.

Honestly makes a lot more sense than keeping Dangerfield around.

Definitely concerned. There’s no excuse for it either. Most times they get gassed, but it looks more like the CBs are just failing to hold up their end of the bargain. The safeties may need to stay deep more often because the CBs need help.

I’d be curious to see what people say about the all22 tape. Wonder what schemes are getting picked apart. Most deep balls happen when the safety bites the underneath or just is playing too aggressive in a shallow 3rd. Usually means the CBs are in cover 3, but they looked manned up with how aggressive they are being.

Serious question... So how long before we see Sean Davis get some snaps at SS?

Have to be honest, was never a fan of the pick in the draft, he seems to get lost in coverage constantly......I remember watching him vs the Chiefs and Kelce ran right by him for a TD catch.....he doesn’t seem to have the instincts you need back there.....

Don't think any of us were a big fan of the pick. Kid had a 2nd/3rd Rd draft projection. Same with Artie Burns & even Sean Davis. All were drafted above their projection.

Guess they will keep trying to learn that lesson with DBs.

The all22? I don't have the gamepass myself, and typically just get it 2nd hand from numerous sources. Twitter mainly, but @ATL96Steeler came through clutch last season with giving us good details of the tape.
