And then you have to look at the QBs they had. And the OL in front of them. And then maybe a complimentary piece like a great RB or another WR. Lots of factors go into how stats get created.

Our Scheme ...LSU with the WR's showing that in spades last year. 900 yard vers 1,500 and boat load of TD's JJ is going to now get paid .

So are your top 3 hated based on us taking them at 15 or would you be OK if we picked them later?

It is completely based on taking them at 15. Becton I could somewhat get behind just because his upside is ridiculous and he is a fit scheme wise but again I would be nervous for sure. If we trade back and take Jefferson or Mims then yeah I can get behind that decision. My biggest issue is that honestly past the top-3 WR's there are only a couple others that I honestly really like. There are plenty that I would be ok with and think they could have a role on the team but at the same time I can see Hamilton having a role in this offense so not sure that is a great endorsement.

I know they say this is a deep WR draft but I think Benjamin Allbright put it best. He said a league source told him that he sees maybe 4-5 starters at WR in this draft. "Could be 15-20 'contributors'...guys that snag 30 and 300 a year...but not a lot of WR1 talent here."

He defines WR1 talent as guys that dictate coverage. Lamb, Jeudy, Ruggs, Reagor, Mims, and Shenault (if healthy) would be my 5 guys that I could see dictating coverage.

Woody Paige was quoted today saying he think Denver will try to trade up to 10 and select Jerry Jeudy. , Daniel Jeremiah also reported this recently. Broncos are clearly high on Jeudy, will it happen though?

Give me 1 of the 3 WR's please and if not I am fine with Jefferson or Mims a little later than 15 though. I have a feeling Mims is our fallback if we don't get one of the top 4 WR's we will pass on WR at 15 and use our 2nd to try and trade back into the later stages of Round 1 for Mims.

Several people also report that Denver is doing a terrible job at keeping their thoughts unknown. I personally like the top 3-4 WR's enough to not move up into the top 10 to grab one, as I think one will be there at 15... But teams fall in love with players soooo not my decision :).

Kiszla at the DPO disagrees with you in today’s paper. He says move up to get the guy you want, don’t settle for leftovers.

I forgot to mention another player connection to former Broncos in this years draft. This was an obvious one too just totally forgot to add it to my list last week because he was known for being a Buccaneer and not a Bronco.

WR Michael Pittman, his dad Michael Pittman SR played RB here for one year under Josh McDaniels.

I am sure a lot of people disagree with me. I am sure any GM would say the same thing. They are going to move up for who they want if the price is right. This is me thinking as a fan, not as a GM. You know me and the more draft picks the better. ;)

I really have no problem moving up for one of these WR's. At the end of the day if one of these 3 WR's are on our roster, I am going to be a happy man. I'll be placing my jersey order pronto. ;)

It is also really really easy for a person like me to say let one of the 3 WR's I love fall to you because we know teams fall in love with players and if you really want that guy you go get him) I just love the top 3 WR's enough.

The WR I would personally move up for in this draft is Ceedee Lamb... I'd probably honestly go up and get him. He has more top qualities I look for in this draft then any other WR.

Still love Ruggs, Jeudy and Jefferson.

My only concern with Ruggs really is his strength, but he fits so well next to Sutton with his speed and playmaking ability after the catch. I love that fit.

I felt like last year when we made that trade with the Steelers it was always going to be to add an extra 3rd to move up in the first this year, so I have really thought all along one of those 3rd's we have no would be used as trait bait.

I feel like getting the 3rd for Emmanuel was a a bonus as we were losing him anyway...

I feel like we really put our team in great position in the draft this year. I don't want to throw those picks away, but it is much more appealing to move up when you have those extra pieces, that really didn't cost you much to get. I look at them as bonus pieces.

All honesty on the jersey I would wait...

I could see any 3 changing after camp.

Ruggs #11 is taken and although I think Spencer makes it as our return man (or he may be nice and change) I would wait incase.

Lamb I think would look best in #12 but Benson has #12.

Jeudy maybe #10? Or #80 to honor the name Jerry? (Which Butt has)

Of course now we will draft Andrew Thomas.

Top-3 I would love
1) Henry Ruggs
2) CeeDee Lamb
3) Jerry Jeudy

I think a top WR makes the greatest impact then any other position. I would say LT is a close second, but I don't think we draft one in the 1st round as the Broncos still seem to have faith in Bolles. I would not be surprised to see one drafted at at some point.

Top-3 I would hate
1) Justin Jefferson
2) Denzel Mims
3) KennethMuray

I do like all 3 but not at 15 or in a trade up. Trade down and to gain an additional pick would be fine.

According to The Gazette’s Woody Paige, the Broncos like Iowa tight end Noah Fant and could target him if they decide to trade back from 10th overall.

Devin Bush was the hot rumor heading into today, but now we have reports of at least two teams(Falcons and Steelers) looking to jump them for him. It seems like a plausible move to with the Bills and Lions looking to move back, and they have the 8th and 9th overall selections that are right in front of the Broncos.

Even the contradictory Bronco notions are true, but which ones?

Recent draft rumors I have heard.

1. Patriots love QB Jacob Eason. He is their QB of choice in this years draft. They REALLY want to draft Jacob Eason.

2. Henry Ruggs won't fall past #21 to the Eagles (I doubt he even gets that far)

3. If Ruggs falls into the 20's the Chiefs will be very aggressive to move up and draft him (That is super scary given what they already have, we better not let that happen)

4. Antoine Winfield Jr is loved by the Chiefs, Browns, Seahawks and Vikings.

5. We might trade up or down, or stay at 15.

6. Jaylon Johnson won't fall out of Round 1. :( Good and bad. I really want him in Round 2, but I thin he is more then deserving to go in Round 1. Maybe a player we trade back in for? He and Mims seem most likely to me if we don't go WR or CB at 15.

I do think the best value to be had for the Broncos is to take BPA at 15 and trade back into round 1 or the top of round 2 for another guy they like. A trade like that may be worth the capitol it takes to get there.

Ruggs and Winfield Jr both seem like luxury picks for the Chiefs but I could totally see them making a move on Ruggs. They just don't have a lot of ammo to move up. Ruggs draft range is going to be somewhere between 10-15.

Chiefs being interested in those two sounds like a smokescreen. They drafted a speed WR and a athletic safety last year with their first two picks.

Agree- More luxury picks. I don’t see it happening, but maybe I am more in denial as it would scar me! ;)
