Sounds like the Jags really like Henderson so not sure he gets past them at 9. Also sounds like the Falcons really want to trade up for Kinlaw. The 49ers and Falcons both want him.

That’s good for us though right? If the Jags and 49ers don’t take wide receivers that just increases the chances we get one of the good ones in Rd. 1.

Tyler Biadsz has slipped to late rd 3/early rd 4 due to red flag injuries. Knee and hip issues.

I am really convinced that CJ Henderson will go in the top 13. And I think he is a prime candidate for someone to come up and grab. Falcons, Cowboys, Eagles. Or a team like the raiders or 49ers will stay where they are and select him
Henderson's placement in mock drafts has always bothered me. He is like Ruggs. He feels like he should be higher or lower than what he is.

The difference between Henderson and Ruggs is that I don't think anyone is challenging Henderson for #2 CB. Henderson's range is probably somewhere between pick 6 and pick 9. It also means that the Lions might gladly trade down.

I’m wondering now if two of the top three WRs just might be available at 15. Two weeks ago I wondered if any of the three would be there. Seems like there is always a lot of shifting the past couple weeks before the big day.

Yeah that is the thing about Henderson... I feel it is very clear who the #1 CB is this year and who the #2 CB is this year.

Remember, last year one CB went in round 1 and it wasn't until pick #30 which is pretty crazy for the CB position. I expect a lot of CB's to go off the board late round 1 to early round 2. Think of all those teams last year who didn't grab a CB early who need a good young CB... It's like peope needing toilet paper and running low because last years supplies were low.

I don't know if I believe it, but I was informed today that Denver loves both Henry Ruggs and Denzel Mims, and they love Mims as much as they love Ruggs! Good source though.

I think Mingo posted a few crazy ideas last year and people thought it might cause a pandemic to visit that thread.

That’s it, I’m sure!

If we like Mims so much, watch us go with Henderson then pick him.

Yeah- Could be a move up target with our second rounder.

With a need at WR and good value there early we are in good position. With our first and second rounder to be used towards that need.

One thing I wanted to note about Denzel Mims... His FR year he was great. His SOPH year he was pretty good. His JR year he started the season great... Had some inconsistent play in the middle, and ended the season great. One thing to keep in mind about the inconsistent middle of the season and a little concern over dropped passes is this.... He played with a broken hand... I don't know if it has ever been mentioned but it would explain that inconsistency during the middle portion of the year... He also never really played with a great passing QB. Charlie Brewer is a decent college QB, but he does a lot of his work on the ground as a runner. His SOPH season was a lot more inconsistent but Baylor also trotted out two QB's the first 4 weeks of the season or so. Offense never really got a rhythm in 2018 and Jalen Hurd was at Baylor his JR year and gobbled up a lot of passes underneath.

Let’s make some deals!

I have no idea if Indy wants someone who falls at 15 - maybe like a QB and we get their 34 and 44. Now we have 34, 44, 46, 77,83,95

But wait! Seattle is on the clock at 27 and as they do every year, they are looking to trade down. We get their 27 for our 46 and 77.

So now we have 27, 34, 44, 83 and 95.would you do that?

I think I would. We could get a WR like Mims, Jefferson, Aiyuk, or Reagor at 27 and add a top OL at 34 like Ruiz or Cleveland at 34, and then get a good CB at 44 like a Diggs or Johnson. And then we would still have have two third rounders.

what say you?

I don't think anyone fakes being a Nebraska fan, when the team has had one winning season in five years even wannabes won't fake that. It is easier to just make fun of Nebraska football with your real account, you get more cred for that.

I see I misread my notes and put down Derrik instead of Xavier, at least I had the college correct.
The strangest sight I’ve ever seen was a Cornhusker fan shop in the middle of downtown Estes Park Colorado.....

Do you think there will be more or less trading this year in the Draft?

I would do this in a heart beat. I would also say I posted this scenario last week.
