No- We need to fall in love with value, not a position. Why reach if the value isn't there?

Don't team rank players in a stair-step fashion with a set of players within each tier? So take the top tier of player left on your board. If there is a position of need in that tier , draft him otherwise draft the highest rank player in the tier.

One pass catching RB I love in this years draft is ASU's Eno Benjamin. I think we can get him at a good value spot. A very good runner and pass catcher who has playmaking ability and runs tough through the tackles.

I agree as I see Booker moving on for a chance to play.

Yeah- I don't expect Booker back next year.

FSU DL Marvin Wilson has decided to return to school- Good player, probably a good decision. Could help himself a lot next year.

Michigan State CB Josiah Scott has decalred. I have him as a rd 4-5 guy. Could sneak into the later part of round 3 if he works out well.

Not a terrible decision to go, but I think he had a lot to gain by returning.

Hey @Draft Crazy - if the Broncos go CB in round one - it looks like CJ Henderson might be there. What's your take on him?

Love CJ Henderson. Good length, very physical, good hands, coverage ability and ball skills. Needs to get stronger and can sometimes be caught peaking at the QB. His weaknesses are easily polishable. Has all the physical tools. Can put him on an island and trust him.

Very good choice. Charlie Kolar and Kennedy Brooks also going back.

Seems like this year you are seeing a little bit of a change of players making smarter decisions going back. Most likely seening other players mistakes of declaring a year to early.

Good zone blocking scheme RB, good vision, breaks tackles. Productive last two seasons. Can hit the home run. Not much of a receiver out of the backfield and struggles in pass protection which is what we might be looking for more. Not sure we will take a RB or need to take a RB in round 3. Plenty of good ones on day 3 for what we will be looking for.

I like Vaughn but so many I like this year that I feel using a round 3 pick on him isn't necessary as he isn't special but he is good.

Last pick in the 3rd round is kinda day 3.

All things being equal and I may be in minority

Melvin Gordon or Keyon Drake would solve our RB situation. We have the money. We need a better offense to try and out score KC. Elway has said this himself.

I don’t see us spending big money on a RB. Need to fix the OL first before we add a big name RB. Not like our RB’s are bad. Rather see us add a RB in the draft or a solid pass catching RB. Of course I love Gordon and Drake but they are gonna get paid. Drake would be smart to go back to Arizona. He fit in great there with Kingsbury scheme David Johnson would if ever healthy.

I'm staying true to the board and going BPA. Could be a Dlineman. Who do you think would be the highest ranked player on the board.

In this situation - I think I would go with Grant Delpit - as the guy who can cover TEs and support the run defense.

Remember when Fangio tried Jamal Carter as a LBer. Sounds like Delpit could be our Derwin James. He would have to be a 3 down players. he may be BPA which fits my premise.
