Mingo will be rooting for Cal over Illinois.

Mike White recruited me to Cal - then he went to Illinois and was the HC of the Raiders. The highlight of my career at Cal was I hosted Chuck Muncie during his recruitment (I had to drive him around because he was legally blind for a California Driver's License (but not in Arizona). Chuck truly ran for daylight. I got thrown out of Cal that spring for rioting - which shows they really can't take a joke over there.

Muncie was a huge get for San Diego Super Chargers love to watch him run.

Very hard to come up with a comparison on Simmons, IMO... He is a SAM in the NFL, not a safety. Beast of a LB who can play in the nickel... Every down LB. Runs sideline to sidline as well as any LB coming out. Great instincts. He is better than Alec Ogletree but Ogletree started off as a S in college as well and moved to LB. Ogletree has been pretty good in the NFL, but I thought he might be a start at the next level. I guess maybe Lavonte David???

Kenneth Murray is pretty darn good at OLB in this draft as well.

Yes - the fellow from the Vietnam war was identified - dug up - congressional medial of honor removed and sent back to his family.

One of my favorite college players declared. Miami CB Trajan Bandy. His size will slide him a bit.

DeeJay Dallas also declared. He may sneak into the late rounds, not a bad RB, but doesn't separate himself.

Just think for the first time in forever We have a Rookie QB that makes it possible to not worry about a QB drafting one any time soon.

If we really want to move up we can IMO with all the picks we have in the top 100 picks but I like this team we built this year .

Since the Broncos don't need a QB at #1 - the 15th pick - might be the 9th or 10 best non-qb in the draft - considering there may be 4 or 5 QBs who will go early.
