The two most important traits for a wide receiver: get open and catch the football. And Smith has the quickness to beat press and create separation plus arguably the best ball skills on the Alabama roster, which is certainly high praise considering the other names on the Tide depth chart.

The Senior Bowl will be an important step in his evaluation and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Trautman is a “riser” throughout the process.

And while not an athletic marvel like Okwara, Kareem has the quickness to capture the edge.

One of the biggest senior risers throughout this season, Hamilton is playing the best football of his life at the right time. Hamilton will get himself in trouble with his upright rush style, but he does a great job tracking the football and retracing his steps to make stops.

Although his aggressive nature downfield will get him in trouble, he has cut down on the panic plays and offers the loose hips and foot quickness to stay hip-to-hip in man coverage. Arnette is also one of the better run defending defensive backs I have scouted this season.

It is tough to get too excited about this year’s safety class, but maybe Dugger can help change that narrative.

Could be a combo of things. His QB graduating, doesn't like school. Thinks he is better then he is? Usually the last two are major reasons for players declaring who shouldn't. Not sure how much Nixon can help his draft stock by returning though... I guess Sheunault will be gone and that can hurt of help him if he returns... Tony Brown was more impressive to me. Nixon is probably a PS guy who can stretch the field, but there are a lot of Nixon's in the draft.

Both probably gone before we even consider a RB which wouldn't be until Day 3. A guy like Cam Akers might be more in our territory. I don't think we are real worried about RB, but some good value will be there on day 3 if we wanted to go for some value.

Completely agree on the team really liking Lock. I believe he has allowed the offense to play looser.

I want to see us stop spending big money on another teams free agents and keep the ones we have and like. I am good if we resign Shelby Harris, Derek Wolfe, Jeremiah Attaochu, Connor McGovern, Chris Harris, and Justin Simmons. I am thinking the following positions should get drafted at some point:
WR - A bit of a luxary, but to really take this team to the next level we need another WR. We have some guys, but none seem to be difference makers yet.

Oline - May need a guard or center next year, but depth could be better.

DLine - We are getting older on the dline needs some youth. Would be great to to resign Shelby Harris and Wolfe, but they are getting older. I am not sure if Gottis will return either.

ILB - Todd Davis is ok, but another good ILB with speed to play with Johnson would give the defense more flexibility.

CB - Chris Harris is getting older and may leave in FA, and who knows what Callahan will be when he returns. If we resign Chris Harris probably good for a year or 2 but will need help at some point.

S - Park likely leaves in FA so some depth and special teams would be nice.

We have 9 picks at this point with the comp picks still to be decided. With a good draft this year we could be setup for a very good 2-3 years.
