I was all over Toppin for months now...I dont like him for the Cavs 1st option tbh.

I like Isaac Okoro. They need defense, plain and simple. Can Toppin be a good defender in the NBA...sure but Okoro can be an elite defender and can finish at the rim. I really could care less if he cannot shoot at this point. The Cavs have shooters

CLE needs to just take BPA. They're so far away that need doesn't really matter.

They took BPA the last 2 years. They do not need another guard. They have 3 guards that can be starters. They need a wing and they need defense. Top two priorities...it doesn’t matter how far away they are...they have to build a team. Not a team of guards that can’t defend

Good thing I don't think a guard is going to the BPA.

Vessel is the other guy who I think could be the guy. I like him there. But yeah he isnt' as big as Okoro, but he also carries less risk.

Yep. I've never understood why they are interested in Lamelo Ball when they have D'Angelo Russell and James Wiseman when they have KAT. They can't really wait around any more with KAT. They need to start ascending. You draft either of those two kids you're gonna be waiting on development while also trying to figure out fit issues since you already have players in their spot. Edwards is just as good as those other prospects (likely better) and he slides right into roster easy. There's no fit issues. He's a wing to pair with the guard and post player you already have. Only thing that makes since is they've been playing up interest in Ball trying to see if others would trade for that pick.

These reports always crack me up....not that you told us, but the guy who actually reports it. These teams are like the CIA when it comes to the draft, trades and FA moves. why on Earth would they tell anyone who they really want at 1...especially if they might want to go down to 3?

Nevertheless...I like hearing them.

NY made a smart trade.....their 27th and 38th picks to get Utah's 23rd pick. Looks like they want to trade up since Ball is going to drop.

Deal the 23rd pick and Mitchell Robinson (since they need a big man) to Charlotte for #3 pick if Ball does drop to that spot.

Hmmm that's interesting. I did hear the Bulls don't like the fit of Markkanen and Carter.

I feel Deni is a risk but for the W's it's less of a risk...definitely makes sense. They get their center and they get a guy they seem to cherish skill wise.

Only question is why would they trade up two spots and give up on a young player...they must really want Wiseman bad.
