Don't get me wrong Cruz has been a godsend. But why does he completely lose his power with multiple guys on base??

He's basically a singles hitter(now making outs with bases loaded) and im pretty sure he hit a high % of solo bombs last year too.

Yeah, he looked great tonight. Not sure if it was the lineup he was facing, but those first 5 innings were great.

His stuff was waaaaay better. He still nibbles a bit too much which gets his pitch count up. But he was throwing some nasty stuff for a lot of it.

We need him to be consistent long term to have any shot.

Odo and Berrios... the foundation of our pitching staff. For every good outing we get, we get 3 duds. Glad we went out and got a few different starters. Those 2 will never meet expectations. I just dont know why the front office keeps trying to convince us that they will.

Polanco cannot continue to have a .317 OBP and .368 slugging% and bat in front of Cruz

Its just constant weak pop ups flailing or ground outs. Cannot continue.

Our offense is dreadful. We just had Wade Jr batting 6th and not pinch hit for in the 8th as the tying run. Thats how bad we are right now offensively.

And our dipshit manager keeps burning our entire bullpen we had to use Alcala vs their studs......game over.

Oh well. I bit my tongue after this team did that stupid display for that piece of garbage George Floyd. But, after cancelling games to protest another thug who didnt know how to behave in a civilized society, I'm just done with sports. Couple good W's to get back on track a bit.

Unfortunately now Kepler and Arraez got hurt now. We can't catch breaks injury wise(couldn't last year either).

If arraez and Kepler have to sit for a bit, Baldelli has to scrap the stupid plan of giving Buxton/Donaldson routine rest.

This team still needs some starters. This off-season, I would like to see the team pursue the top-flite starters on the market. I would also like to see them bring Cruz back for another year or 2, possibly at a similar rate to his current contract, possibly a bit more.

The Twins are back in the playoffs. Right now, it looks like they will play the red-hot Yankees in the first round. Not the matchup I want to see.
