That would be interesting to see Soderstrom, if only because his dad was drafted 27 years ago (wow, that is weird because I remember that draft) by the same team. His dad never panned out though.Hey, the draft is in a couple of weeks! Something to discuss, sorta.
Dates: June 10 at 4:00 pm PT, round 1. June 11 at 2:00 pm PT, rounds 2-5.
So far the Giants have been linked mostly to Mick Abel, a high school RHP, and Tyler Soderstrom, a high school catcher, with their first pick.
However, I don't know why the Giants would go 1st round, in an abbreviated draft, on a prep catcher. Is he projecting to be the best available pick at 13?
By the way, I had started a 2020 Draft thread in early April.
