You need to run the ball on third down, either you hand it off to Barkley or Hurts runs it himself, the most important thing is taking time off the clock and even if you don't get a first down, if you're close, I still think you go for it on 4th down. The best thing that could happen for the Falcons happened, an incomplete pass and saving at least 40 seconds. Also, the FG the Eagles kicked did force the Falcons to score a TD to win, but there's a good chance they're going for the win regardless.

If the Eagles would have kicked a field goal in the first quarter on a 4th and 4 near the end zone that’s all moot.

I didn't see the entire game and missed that part - So you're willing to gamble in the 1st quarter, but you have a chance to kill the game in the 4th quarter and play it safe?
