He was just absolutely exhausted at the end of the game. Pretty much every SF player not named McCaffrey was.

And re: the blocked PAT, I think a driven Mahomes with the game on the line is almost unstoppable and it wouldn’t have made much of a difference.

My only question really is the OT coin flip. Didn’t think anything of it at the time but maybe if SF had deferred something different could’ve played out.

/I also think when the OT1 clock runs out the game should end if it’s not still tied.

i was surprised they didn't defer. I would not want to give Mahomes last touch.

meh ... seemed like everyone questioned that but KC D was on the field for a lot of that 4th qtr while the 49er D had just given up a 12 play 64 yard drive in 1:50 where Mahomes went through them like butter ... 49ers should have deferred and put their own d right back on the field again right away ???

49'ers failure was coming away with only a field goal after a 7:22 drive in OT. If they scored a td and Mahomes answers back with a td the 49ers have the proverbial final touch to score and win
