What was the deal with him? Whenever I saw him play he seemed OK yet it seemed like no one was happy with him.

I mean, obviously this game is out of reach and the guys on the field for the Steelers are likely just going through the motions, but this is also gut check time and you still want to see what guys will continue to play for their teammates. Romo brings out the telestrator to show that Chase should have done on this pass route.

He was doing the same kind of stuff JuJu was doing (TikTok) etc… but his teammates loved juju and talked about his dedication and commitment. The polar opposite of Claypool.

Plus on the field his inconsistency was maddening. He would disappear for weeks at a time.

To add to the above he told the local media that practices aren’t fun and Mike Tomlin should pipe in music while they practice.


Tomlin understandably wasn’t happy and made a comment about he’s the coach and practice time isn’t music class or something similar.

Chase’s head never seemed to be in the right place.
