That is your opinion.

Fed did a lot of his damage when his best competition was Roddick or Hewitt on hardcourts and grass

Novak is doing all his damage while playing with 2 of the top 5 players ever.

That is more impressive.

Hard to see Fed winning a GS outside of Wimbledon so there is a solid chance that Novak ends up with more majors while playing his entire career in a more difficult era.

djokovic looks he will likely pass federer in majors, but it would be hard to take djokovic over prime federer.

fed and nadal are not at their best. it took an epic match from djokovic to beat a 37 year old federer. federer makes a few slight adjustments to his strategy and he'll regain #1.

prime federer also did plenty of damage against djokovic, nadal, agassi, murray, safin etc. not bad players either.

You do realize nadal is only 1 year older right? Your other points are fine for the most part but give me a break about the whole Nadal not being at his best. Novak just turned 32 in May and he just turned 33 last month

age is irrelevant. nadal has had knee problems.

when was the last time nadal won on another surface besides clay? he's won one major on hardcourts in the last 6 years, and hasn't won wimbledon since 2010. prime nadal had an edge on a much younger federer on hardcourts, and beat him at wimbledon. nadal now has lost the last 7 or 8 meetings to an older federer on all surfaces other than clay. this is not the same nadal of 5 or 6 years ago

You're acting like Rafa been bad on hardcourts. Won the US open 2 years ago and made SF last year. Made the Aussie Open finals in 2 of the last 3 years

like i said he's won one major on hard courts in the last 6 years. sure he's had some good showings, but this is not the rafa that was regularly beating prime federer.

i seriously doubt he ever wins another major outside of the french.

prime rafa would be giving federer and joker all they want, instead of being dominated by both. prime rafa was a beast.

LOL you do realize Novak been kicking Rafa ass on hard courts since 2007 right?

From 2007-2014, Novak went 14-7 on hard courts against Rafa. Granted he is 5-0 against Rafa on hard courts from 2015-present but 7-14 against Novak while "in his prime" isn't any good

Let me guess, Rafa wasn't in his prime at this time either right lmao

there's only a couple tournaments a year on grass. they've only played 4 x's on grass total. nadal beat djokovic in 2008 at queens, and at wimbledon in 2007. so djokovic just has the one win in 2011, and the one this year on grass. they are 2-2 lifetime.

nadal is a clay courter. its not surprising that djokovic might have an edge on hard courts. however, djokovic has won all 8 meetings against nadal 2014-present, without dropping a set. prior to that they were 11-7, and much more competitive. and nadal was also dominating federer.

nadals injuries problems started in 2014. since then he has only the one major on hardcourts, and it came against kevin anderson in the finals, in 2017. heard much from kevin anderson lately? djokovic had injuries problems that year.

Yeah....he made the 2018 finals at Wimby and is #11 in the world

and lost in straight sets. doubt it'll put him in the HOF. he's won 6 titles in 16 years on the tour.

Who said anything about him being HOF? Point was he didn't fall off some cliff as you made it seem since making the 2017 US Open finals

this year he lost in the second round of the AO, skipped the FO, lost in the 3rd round of W.

anderson is a journeyman tier 2 player.

in 2017 both federer and djokovic had injuries, opening the draw at the USO for nadal.

nadal is in no way shape or form a goat on any other surface than clay. prime nadal 2005-2013 did have some success on hardcourts and grass, but has managed to win only a couple sets off federer and djokovic, combined, in the last several years.

saying djokovic is facing better competition than prime federer is highly debateable. nadal is a clay court specialist, and federer 37 years old.

federer outplayed joker on sunday. outserved him and won more games. just basically choked. federer is the more talented player.

It really isn't. Nadal was only around 2 years before Novak became a name on the tour.

Are you going to tell me that Roddick and Hewitt are better than Murray & Rafa?

murray has had hip replacement surgery.

prime federer was playing against agassi, safin, a young nadal, a young djokovic, hewitt, roddick, ferraro, a young murray, etc. etc. hewitt was year end #1 back to back, roddick was also a year end #1. in their primes they were very formidable opponents. unfortunately for them federer came along and destroyed them.

it took a hope and prayer for djokovic to get by 37 year old federer on sunday. federer outserved him and won more games, probably should have won in 4 sets.

You're acting like Murray had that surgery 10 years ago lol.

I get it you're a Fed groupie so keep acting like Hewitt and Roddick are close to being better than the competition Novak been dealing with since 2007 lol

I don't care who won more games on Sunday. Novak won the title all that matters.

Hard to take anyone serious who acting like Fed competition been better than Novak's competition.

murray had been injured the last couple of years and also had back surgery in 2013. he's got 3 majors, hewitt has two and was ye #1 twice. he also played against federer. what make him a tipping point on who had the better competition? hewitt used to thrash sampras.

you're the one who acts like a groupie, ignoring all the facts. nadal's clearly been in decline since 2013, except on clay, and federer is 5 years older and past his prime. roger played against nadal too.

and we just saw 37 yo federer and joker play. anyone who saw he match knows who the more talented player is, even at 37. we'll see how joker does when he's 37.

This Nadal in decline BS needs to stop.

The dude had 2 rough years which was 2015 and 2016. Been fine otherwise.

Made it to the finals of the Aussie Open in 2014, 2017, & 2019.
Made it to the semi finals and finals of the US Open in the last 2 years.
Made it to the semi finals at Wimbledon the last 2 years. Before the last 2 years, he did not get out of the 4th round at Wimbledon since 2011

1 major since 2013 on hard courts, in a tournament with joker absent, and federer playing poorly because of injury. won only 1 other hardcourt title.

nadal hasn't beaten federer since 2014 on hardcourts. nadal dominated federer 2005-2013. nadal doesn't have a win on hard courts over joker since 2013, proir to that joker had only a slight edge.

speaks for itself.

and if you think prime hewitt wasn't that great, google some sampras-hewitt matches. he gave sampras fits on hard courts and grass.

Never said that. He just simply isn't as great as Rafa and Fed which has been Novak main competition. That's all

I agree but my point yesterday is that Fed took advantage of that brief 2-3 year window he had before Novak and Murray became big time players. He won 10 majors or so from 2003-2006
