I really expect the hate on Baker...he had a great rookie season and now he is regressing. He needs to work on stuff that he was doing last year he isn't doing this year...and one is when he is under pressure. He is under pressure almost every other snap this year. Definitely a big issue, gotta get better

Should have addressed the line issue in the summer. It was clear to everyone that the line would be a major problem

Two years ago the Browns went 0-16. There's no way the 49ers were the worst team in 2017.

the 9ers came close to ringing up 300 yards running the ball yesterday...

so it more of a STEAMROLLING than a "shootout" in my humble estimation...

It's a lot of things.

As I've mentioned before, there's a book on him now. DC's know his strengths and weaknesses and they are concentrating on limiting his strengths. It's up to him to address that and adjust to it. So far, he either hasn't done that or hasn't figured out how to translate it to the game yet.

His o-line is worse than last year, but he doesn't help by holding onto the ball too long trying to make the plays he made in college. He could do himself some good by watching Russell Wilson. He has been playing behind subpar o-lines for most of his career. He's mastered being able to move in the pocket and extend plays until a receiver comes open.

Roethlisberger and Rivers would be good for him to watch too, they keep plays alive by moving in the pocket without scrambling. To be fair though, they are also 6'5" compared to Mayfield's 6', so they don't have to move to be able to see over their linemen.

He's also facing better teams than he did last year.

Imo, it's not really about working on what he did last year as it is about adding to what he did last year so defenses can't just key on what he did last year.

The Seahawks are usually strong defensively and from what the pundits are saying, the Pats defense may be one of the best they've ever had, if not the best.

Bosa with the revenge gesture...

I'm a Bosa fan as an OSU alum but not sure what to think about that. A small part of me did like it, but think it would have meant more had it come sooner after Baker planted the flag. Been at least 2 years by now (maybe 3?). Then there's the idea Bosa quit on OSU so how much could he care, really?
