Brooklyn is in NY

Toronto entire team was built through the draft and they added Kawhi lol

Miami entire team was built through wade and they added Lebron and Bosh

Cavs entire team was built around Irving and they added Lebron and Love...You do realize we traded for like half our team right? We added more players than the raptors through free agency lol

GS entire team was built through the draft with Curry, Green, Thompson and they added Durant

I get that you are bitter but this is a weirrd angle
and how did they add Kawhi? the main piece they traded was a guy they DRAFTED. lol.....i mean, its common sense.

and I mean, in order to get Davis the Lakers had to trade away tons of draft capital. Same with the Clippers and George

both the Knicks and Nets had plenty of cap space for 2 guys- but Durant and Irving chose the Nets becuase they had a better core that they drafted and developed to build around.

The only success that Miami has ever had was because they sucked and drafted Wade. The Lakers run of success was predicated on a draft day trade for Kobe Bryant and trading picks for Pau. The Warriors run was without a doubt predicated on the draft.

The Knicks play in "the Mecca" and had tons of cap room multiple time since the first time LeBron was a free agent and they havent been able to do dick with it. In fact- there only semi run of success was when the TRADED For Carmelo Anthony.

the Raptors? drafted Siakem and TRADED for Leonard.

on and on and on.

It's a very bizaree argument from tlance tbh

Maybe he thinks we kept all the pieces we drafted or something? I don't recall Smith or shumpert or mozgov or james jones or mike miller or Love being drafted by us tho...I will have to double check

Our team wasn't really built through the draft. We ended up with Irving and an entirely different team...Building through the draft isn't a knock. It worked great for GS. Sometimes just slapping players together doesn't work very well. See the lakers lol

Raptors drafting was crucial.
Derozan and Portel for kawai
JV Delon wright for Gasol.
We drafted Siakam and Powell.

Only unique thing about the Raps is nobody on the team was drafted higher then 15. Not 1 lottery pick on the Championship team

That is impressive, doing it with higher picks

The Knicks are a perfect example of drafting badly. By all means they should be a basketball powerhouse. Their terrible drafting is what has prevented them from being good for decades. Had they drafted a kobe, or a lebron or anyone for that matter, things would have been a lot different.

Drafting is always key for almost any team outside of the biggest markets in LA and NY....And NY just has terrible management to go with it so that doesnt help lol

So, LeBron has played over 20,000 more minutes then Westbrook.
Nice comparison @WiggyRuss

Spot on again!

If Westbrook played 40 mpg for all 82 games the next 4 seasons, that's only another 13k plus whatever playoff minutes there would be.
Of course he's not going to play anywhere near 40mpg and all 328 games.

I would still rather have Lebron...It's not the minutes it's his style of play

I mean if OKC cant get anything for him which I expect to happen we could see a buyout coming and if that happens he can go to any team he chooses lol...

The Lakers need a PG...haha

I was thinking that originally, but not with that much salary owed.

I hope Paul is forced to play in OKC.
Lets see how much of a pro he is.
I bet he sits out hurt before long.

If I am Miami i stay farrrrr away from him

What I thought too but if CP3 wants to win a ring that bad he will accept a much much lower buyout price...not likely but did we really expect any of this to happen this FA

And how did the lakers get AD and Lebron. With three (3) #2 overall picks in the lottery a 4th pick and a 7th pick, somehow this strategy Tlance knocks the cavs for tho, the same strategy the lakers used.

Buyout for 120M lolzzzz

Gonna be very difficult to ship that contract so he will probably be in OKC his entire career. Sucks for him lol

I dint think there is any doubt that a big part of this is Presti doing Westbrook a huge favor.
