Yep. This was my only take away. Turner might be the Hawks replica version of Iguodala, minus the defense. Play making SF to allow Trae and Huerter to play off the ball some. They're still on that Warriors-lite path.

Yeah Bazemore is the better of the 2. I really don't get this trade for ATL. Maybe bc ATL needed another forward? Salaries were basically the same.

...are they getting a future draft pick in the deal? I can see why Portland does it (in case they lose Hood in FA); why does Atlanta do it unless they're getting a sweetener?

No clue, this trade makes no sense at all unless one team gets a future pick...looks like it is a straight up player-player trade.

The Lakers CAN but they are at $24M right now, right? I would also think they want a little more flexibility after signing him as well. If they get that number up to $28M all they have is minimum and one MLE. That isn't much to work with.
