True. But it's not just Cleveland. Most of the smaller market teams in all sports have the same problems.

Correct.
Thing is you referenced a Cavs potential situation.

If you recall, Bosh refused to go there in 2010, which played into them all coming to Miami.

Avery Bradley, yeah. I'm not exactly sure how much the Lakers have open. I think all they have left is the room exception, which he could fit into.

Lakers have 3 SGs at this point.

PG: Cook, Caruso (likely min contract), ?
SG: Green, KCP, Daniels
SF: Lebron, Dudley, Horton-Tucker
PF: Kuzma, Williams (possible min contract), ?
C: Davis, McGee, ?

I could see Marcus Morris or Rondo (or Boogie?) with the room exception. They still have maybe a few million under the cap (depending on how these new signings' contracts are structured), maybe they add Trey Burke (if not Rondo), or...?

I totally agree that it isn't just cleveland. All smaller market teams as you said

So me laughing @ your nonstop issues w/ that city makesyou think I'm taking something personal? That's so funny I don't even have a response.

I still have friends and family there.
I like the people who live there much more then the S Florida jerks.

Still doesnt change the fact that its not a place NBA players would choose to live all things being equal.

IMO you kinda have to bring Rondo back. Cook is a good bench player but he's not starting PG material.

Agree

But, their fans aren't on here destroying threads with nonsense daily.

I get it.

People come on here and Shit on California constantly.

Sometimes I'm inclined to respond, other times....

Korver would be good on the minimum. If they could somehow get Iggy and bring Rondo back...it’s a very nice squad

I don't think they'll have AD at center much.

I think the depth chart at C and PF will look more like...

PF: AD, Kuzma,

C: McGee, AD or Kuzma (small ball).

I could also see them trying to sign Boogie.

I want Russ nowhere near this team if it includes trading most of our young core.

Russ and Butler with role players is 2nd round at max.

Role with this group and make a run at a top FA in 2021.

Destroying your roster to get Russ which doesn't make us a title contender would be really dumb

What about Dragic/Waiters/Bam and lifting the protections on the 2023 pick? Regardless, the Thunder may not want a PG back, as they now have SG-A and Schroder.

I would only do your offer if we can get Adams back as well (not sure how the numbers would work)

Yeah, he'll play both. Just trying to structure the depth chart. Not a lot of quality options left at center.

Lebron is a FA in 2022

Lakers signing these guys to all 2 year deals.

They're trying to land another big fish in 2021 to team up with AD,
