I think that's where he ends up. If Toronto didn't win the title, I think he would've already signed in LA. For him, it's likely a trust thing. I think he's trying to see if Ujiri's going to stay in Toronto (during Kawhi's duration) and put a viable contender around him. Thing is, Ujiri could bounce at any moment, so I wonder if Kawhi signs a 1-and-1.

The T-Wolves front office is clueless. They're really about thinking to trade Covington after trading Saric last month.

Robert Covington, Timberwolves: He is one of the most valued 3-and-D players in the league, but after a knee issue forced him to have surgery in April, the Wolves were offering him around at the draft as they looked to move up. Depending on his return to health, league executives believe he could be on the market again.

He is a perfect fit with this team. What is Minny doing lol

If Kawhi take another week the Lakers should move on...eventually these players are going to get impatient.

Trade for Dragic
Sign Boogie and offer Green a nice salary

So is he saying he will sign with the Lakers? Another ballsy but said by hundreds of others statement by the one and only, Cris Carter, ladies and gentleman :laugh3:

Don't you notice the top guys aren't saying shit? Nothing from Woj, Shams, or Stein. All these reports are coming from the clowns who are on these morning shows on ESPN/FS1

Fox Sports seems to have all the guys that want make that big statement so they can brag about it....I mean they have to talk about something but keep the "bold predictions" to a minimum

ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski joined “Get Up!” on Friday morning, and was asked to share the latest on Leonard. He didn’t offer anything earth-shattering, but did indicate that a decision might be looming. “Well, he’s met with all three teams now that he’s considering: The Clippers, the Lakers and, of course, the Toronto Raptors,” Wojnarowski said. “I think a decision is relatively imminent here. I think it probably can’t go on too much longer. I think (he needs) to be able to process what are three very different situations. Two different countries, two different markets and three teams built in very different ways. Listen, it makes sense for him to think this through, take time — whether it was Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, it was clear by the time they got to free agency it seemed as though they knew exactly what they were going to do, that’s not the case with Kawhi Leonard.”

So basically, still, nothing has changed lol

If he was so sure like Jalen Rose said he would have already picked the Raptors...obviously this isn't an easy choice for him.

I love when they basically say what they would do, but try to frame it so it's sounds like they know what the guy they're talking about will do.

To be fair, Cris Carter probably has actually been in a situation like Kawhi is in. But he still has no idea. lol

If the Raptors brought back Kawhi $35M and Green for say the same salary $10M they would be at around $155M in salaries. Wow
