Leonard, make the decision before Sunday at Noon......or we have to trade for AD and lose a max slot.

If we do sign Leonard and then get Rondo and Green. I could see a starting lineup of:

G-Rondo (25mpg or so)
G-Green (25-27mpg)
F-James (33-34mpg)
F-Leonard (35mpg)
C-AD (35-36mpg)

Kuz would get a ton of minutes off the bench and be a possible 6th man of the year candidate.

What can possibly change that would require him to wait, except seeing if the Clips can trade for another max player?

He had his meeting with the Raptors yesterday and today is the 4th of July (even if he is celebrating in Canada) but there should be no excuses for not announcing his decision tomorrow

LOL this is the biggest decision of his life.

Lakers can easily move on if they don't wish to wait.

His process been no different than 2 out of the 3X LBJ switched teams and when KD went to GSW.

Lakers knew what they were getting to by putting all their eggs in one basket.

I would have focused on quality role players because AD/Bron/Kuz with some real quality role players is more than enough to compete and/or win titles IMO.

Kawhi wasn't really needed for the Lakers especially once KD went to Brooklyn

Yeah I agree they have no choice at this point but once KD went to Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon, I wouldn't have cared about getting Kawhi. Would have either focus on getting a starting PG or the quality role players that were available. They missed out and now they have no choice but to hope Kawhi pick them.
