Sixers, at least this year without Durant in the equation, are the big favorites in the East.

Horford is a monster pickup for them and a perfect guy to pair with Embiid--- leadership wise, everything.

don't know if i agree with title contenders...but they certainly are interesting

Richardson is a great fit with the Sixers. He is cheap, a good defender, does not need the ball. He was WAAAY out of his comfort zone as a primary option. Now he can be a spot up can and expend most of his energy on defense.

I love what hte Sixers did- got rid of a total asshole and team destroyer in Butler, got a solid young player on one of the better contracts in the NBA, and used the savings to sign Horford.
