I have said it many times since Flores and the new coaching staff and front office took shape, but it must be said again: The Dolphins are going back to attempting to be a fundamentally sound team. A team that is methodical in their approach on both sides of the ball -- no more of that overdone, fast-paced, big-play or bust approach that failed on a weekly basis under Gase due to his inability and unwillingness to make adjustments.

I like what the Fins are doing in this draft. They are getting good value at picks of need. They only pick that could have been too early was LB Van Ginkel. He was injured at Wisconsin perhaps he will prove to be a solid pick with time and good health.

Chandler Cox, FB/RB , Auburn

Myles Gaskin, RB, Washington the final two picks for the Fins -- this is a steal of a pick for the Fins - a guy that had Day 2 potential.

The Fins draft is officially complete. The guys they drafted signify exactly what the coaching staff has said they wanted all along - big, physical guys on both sides of the ball.

The Fins are looking to punish teams -- not that finesse crap we saw the last few seasons.

Another thing to note about this draft by the Fins is how it signals that Grier and Flores are on the same page. They created a game-plan for the draft the moment they joined forces -- and they've proven to be on the same page this weekend.

People have loved to criticize Grier and other former Fins front office folks in the past - but I think these guys showed their unity this time around. On the flip side, they also showed that they are both worthy of criticism/blame if things go sour with some of the guys they've acquired in their time together. I don't think you can no longer make one or the other the scapegoat on this team anymore.

The Fins picked a versatile FB/HB and a RB. Perhaps the team wants to run the ball more and convert more short yardage first downs.

Nice move by Rosen in that video just shown on NFL network - bounced back from all the SportsHoopla that came out after Murray was selected

You keep acting like Rosen was responsible for the “SportsHoopla” after Murray was selected. I must have missed something.

It will be great to see the Fins approach each down and distance on offense in the right manner for a change. No more trying to go for the big play over the smart play.
