He's now on the 10 day IL and it seems that Cory Gearrin may replace him as the closer in Seattle.

It's hard to see this, most definitely. Which is weird because he wore two uniforms before SF. But it just doesn't feel right.

In other former Giant news, the Royals picked up Andrew Susac and assigned him to AAA. He should get a decent chance there if he shows something in AAA since Salvador Perez is out for the year.

I don't think that's very surprising. Although that's not necessarily true. He can negotiate some sort of compensation to waive his no-trade clause, so it just gives his more power.
