The Lake Show Life released an article claiming Jason Kidd was the guy who vouched for Dwightmare as LeBron, Rondo, McGee, and AD were all the decision meeting. Kidd had to convince everyone that Dwightmare has learned his lessons and claims to be a changed man. So they went with Kidd's vouching and signed Howard. We shall see how all of this plays out.

Glad to see that they had a coach vouch for him and that the main vets were in on the decision. Gives a little more hope that this will work.

Especially since Kuzman has been mentioned for filling in the center position from time-to-time.

Assuming Dwight behaves and stays healthy, we shouldn't be seeing too much of Kuz at center. Mainly in small ball lineups.

Kuz was cut from the national team just to be safe about his injury. It's nothing serious.

Apparently he threatened to kill his Baby Mama because she wouldn't let the kid attend his wedding.

We are losing players even before camp. Kuzma had been reported to sustain an ankle injury playing in some international tourney.
Kuzma has also been reported to have changed representative agencies going from his old agent of Bartlestein to CCA with whom the Lakers have had an adversarial relationship with dating back to the days of Gasbag.
Apparently CCA has been the agency reps for D.Russell, Julius Randle, Paul George, and Pau Basil. All if these players have been steered away from the Lakers in subsequent dealings due in Parr to the bad blood between CCA and the Lakers.

Kuzma has two years left on his rookie contract. After that, we coukd lose a good player because of these already existing conditions. We shall see.

As long as the management of the Lakers continue let LeBron dictate to the modus operandi of basketball operations and style of play, the Lakers are are not going to do well. Vogel needs to step-in when camp and the preseason begin and let it be known he is running the show.

Granted, LeBron maybe telling Vogel that he is not that interested in being the focal point of the offense and shift it to AD but Vogel had better have a plan or we may have another situation where the inmates will be running the asylum.
