second time seeing themThe DBT's are awesome to see live.
Any of you Cali natives been to Pioneertown?
What a cool fucking setting for a show.
I'm not a Cali "native" but I've been through there briefly once after spending a 3 day weekend of hiking & camping in Joshua Tree NP. I could see it as a decent place for a concert and there's lots of wide open space. I recall there wasn't much to do there other than checking out the rustic scenery. It's like the remains of an old western town. I'm pretty sure it's been used as a shooting location for TV shows & movies in the past. Have concerts been held there before?
Going to see Clutch with Big Business opening.
Stoked to see Big Business. Seen Clutch dozens of times. Try to catch em' yearly. Great live band.
I've seen them 3x and haven't heard "Spacegrass" live yet. Good live band, but the sound quality of the vocals depends on which venue they play.
I can't even remember how many times I've seen em'. I don't know how long it's been since you've last seen em', but I haven't seen a bad show from them in the last decade, and that includes in some pretty dumpy venues.
Be my first time seeing Big Business, except for when they were with the Melvins.
Although it's months away...King Crimson (DGM) will be here in the bay area for 2 or 3 shows in early Sept.
They're kicking off a summer/fall tour in June that begins in Europe.
went and saw Titus Andronicus and Bob Mould at 9:30 club in DC. Really went to see TA but I didn't get out of work until late and missed most of their set, which pissed me off.
Mould was good though. He is a fucking rocker to the core. Nonstop for a 58 yr old punk rocker. Really enjoyed it.
I am not familiar with Husker Du to know whether he did or notDid he do any of his old Hüsker Dü stuff?
Mould's a legend, brotha.I am not familiar with Husker Du to know whether he did or not
