I didn't want to let it be known, but I had heard he had signed with Nebraska in December shortly after signing day. No need to worry about USC or ASU sweeping him up... he's locked in.

At this point, I would be surprised if Pola-Mao wasn't a Husker, but USC looms. If he visits there officially things could get dicey. But I think Nebraska closes things up this weekend when he visits.

That said... DJ James committed to Oregon today, so that's one off the board. If Nebraska wants another secondary player in this class it's pretty much down to Jamel Starks.

247 released their 32 5-stars for 2019 today with their final ranking. Obviously no Nebraska players in that top 32. However, they will release the entire 247 tomorrow. Reading the tea leaves I could see Pola-Gates getting a bump along with maybe another bump for Wandale Robinson. We'll see... that will be the last re-ranking for the 2019 class.

Wandale Robinson - moved up from 117 to 40th (97 rating)
Nick Henrich - dropped from 88 to 92 (95 rating)
Bryce Benhart - dropped from 64-121 (94 rating)
Noa Pola-Gates - moved up from 154 to 134 (94 rating)
Ty Robinson - moved up from 180 to 166 (93 rating)
Darien Chase - dropped from 188 to 200 (92 rating)

not many huge moves besides Wandale almost getting into 5-star territory
