Need some juco o linemen you know we really are about 4 years away Imo. With development and recruiting. I won't expect to be back until year 4. That's not to say we won't win big games along the way. But to be a consistent ass kicking team. Going into games expecting to win by multiple touchdowns. I have to temper my expectations. I just think that the last coaching staff really buried us as far as lack of expectations and development in the weight room. I think that the positive that comes from hitting rock-bottom is that you are literally rebuilding a program from the ground up but it is going to be on the foundation that Tom Osborne built it's just the 2.0 version it's faster. It's more advanced in play calling. And if the Defense takes hold we will be a dominant team again.

Year 3 we turn a corner and figure out that we can win games and beat Wisconsin. I think we play for the Big Ten title and possibly play to a close loss. Year 4 we win the Big 10 and establish dominance over the Big Ten west.

Nut - where we at on a DE or OLB that is a pass rusher, like Gregory/Griffin type? Honestly, that is what's going to hold this team up. We need pass rush so the back end doesn't have to cover as long. Got home a few times yesterday but not nearly enough. 350yds to Minnesota and the game not feeling over until the Huskers got that last TD was a little nerve racking.

Seem like an opportunity to go after a very high rated guy, should be an easy sell, immediate playing time/the man on D/sacks/glory. Why sit behind guys at Alabama or Ohio State?

You would think it might be an easy sell, but it's not really. Nebraska is kicking the tires of some JUCO guys and still looking for a guy like Ty Robinson to commit (looks like it's going to come down to Nebraska and USC). Lloyd Summerall is a name to watch (Nebraska playing from behind on this one), Kuony Deng (a JUCO) is name Nebraska is in on, he's visited before but Nebraska offered late so we'll see how that goes.

I'm sure there will be some other names that surface throughout the season (remember, this time last year we didn't even know about Calob Tanner). That said, I think you see Caleb Tannor and a few other OLBs get another season of weight training in and I think you'll see that improve.

Still sounds promising reading around, will be intrigued to see if he tweets about our offensive stats again this weekend like he did for the Minny game. Could be a tell

Some big announcements coming up in the next week or so... Darien Chase (4-Star ATH that just visited for Minnesota game) will be announcing his commitment tomorrow at 12:40pm... I think that might by 2:40 CST). Also Wandale Robinson is set to announce on November 1st.

Both are trending Nebraska's way. Benhart is rumored to be a Husker silent currently, he has said he won't announce until after the season.

Benhart is literally and figuratively a HUGE pick up... I think Benhart could start at RT as a True Freshman next season. That's how good he is. Ultimately he will be a left tackle though.
