You think so? A 37 year old woman coming back from motherhood and played less tennis loses a 5-1 lead in the 3rd is more notable? Okay

serena gave birth 16 months ago. why is that still an excuse?

Lol. Keep what up,Old Lion? I don't think the world will come to an end with me being banned from the tennis forum. It didn't end when I was banned from PF. Considering the fact that I rarely post here does it actually matter? I don't think I have anything else to keep up enough to get me banned since I take no crap from racists. I discuss tennis here and you know it. But you can go ahead and recommend my banning,it is your prerogative.

Noone was being or saying anything racist on this thread. You attacking people and calling them racist because they disagree with you or criticize a black person is grounds for removal. People were removed from the politics board for personal attacks and blatant racism a year ago. @Shaggy put his foot down on all that stuff. Please stick to tennis talk.

Opelka blew a golden opportunity to move up after beating Isner then loses to an unknown in round 2.

The story of the French Open is without Novak chase to complete the Novak slam

The story is whether Andy Murray can beat Nadal or Djokovic during one of his last expected majors!

And whether Kerber can complete the career slam.

And if Wawrinka can make a deep run.

Tiefoe and Chung need to get their rankings up even more.

It's too bad Coco Vandeweghe is still injured.

Thanks for the response. But can you point to any post of mine that called a particular individual racist in this thread? I just pointed out Guns and Guitars giving me a facepalm without actually responding to my post knowing that I can't go to PF and linked him as Trump-loving. Is that racist?

Hell, giving birth that almost caused you your life leading to not enough match preparations as well as being a 37 year old woman is a hell of an excuse. Who can deny this?

In addition, coming back and reaching finals and semis is itself a testament to her greatness. That's the reason she is still the most popular female tennis player in the world even at 37!

it all started with an ump who wanted to make a us open final all about him.

Nope, he did what an umpire was supposed to do. Serena did what a true champion, or role model or mentor is not supposed to do. Plain and simple.

This was the worst temper tantrum thrown by a woman player and the Hingis incident in 1999 pales in comparison.

She's playing in the majors, not her nannies. And enough of this "motherhood" bullshit. It's insulting to all the people who have children that don't have the resources she has and still have to figure out how to get the bills paid with an infant. She doesn't deal with 99% of what the "regular" folks have to deal with when it comes to motherhood or parenthood in general.

I am 68 years old and know more tennis on my pretty little fingers than you would ever know. All that you do on this forum is to spew a lot of Federer and Maria worshiping interspersed with a good dose of stereotypical racial bullshit about an African American woman. You want me to retrieve all your racist diatribe on this forum? I don't need to do that as people who have been here for long know.

Can you please pipe down? It is not "motherhood" bullshit. It is real. A lot of people since 1999 when she came on the scene have long gone. But to come back and reach finals and semis? That's incredible.
