Better than I thought, but if counting correctly it's more than half the seasons without Wade under .500.
How many modern day expansion teams have made the playoffs in less years then the Heat?

Yep....and more often than not they have not been any good without him. Like GS/Curry, Lakers/Kobe-Lebron, Bulls/MJ in the same time frame.Considering they're one of the most recent franchises in the nba, why is this surprising. Wade been there for almost half the time they been around. Not like they been around for 50 plus years
I also mentioned GS, the lakers and the Bulls.Cavs fans need a new hobby.
It was supposed to be Browns, but that didn’t work out very well.
I guess just keep focusing on the Heat!
Sure... why not.
Both our teams need a 'W'... we'll see which one wants it more.
C's on the tail end of a back-2-back again... I think that happened the last time we played too.
don't know, but Charlotte won a playoff series before Miami did.How many modern day expansion teams have made the playoffs in less years then the Heat?
Agree.
But they've been pretty bad more often than not without wade.

The Heat made their 1st playoff series 4 years in but didn't win their first series until 8 seasons in. The Orlando Magic got to the finals in their 6th season.
How are you defining modern day? The Jaguars made the conference finals in their 2nd season.
The Vegas Golden Knights made it to the finals in their first season.

4th season is OK. Nothing special as others did 5....and they won series before Miami.Good for both of them.
Making in 4th season is pretty good, but its ancient history at this point.
Way to move the goal posts. They’ve never even won a division title!
Impressive!
Lol Alex Caruso 6th amongst West guards and Tacko Fall 6th amongst East forwards.
Love it!
Lakers, in general, without James/Kobe, are an annual disaster

In the same timeframe we are talking about they are (Cavs without Lebron, since they had Lebron).lol
They've had about 5ish year stretch after Dr. Buss died.
Hardly makes them an "annual disaster."
