I didnt ask my original question as though the Heat had done anything special in the early years, but to counter with Charlotte, anything, is a joke.

Of course you thought it was special....until you learned it really wasn't.

why is countering with Charlotte a joke? They won a playoff series 3 years sooner than Miami?

Yep....and more often than not they have not been any good without him. Like GS/Curry, Lakers/Kobe-Lebron, Bulls/MJ in the same time frame.

though I'd say Miami better than the others without their star.

In the time frame since the Heat joined the NBA, the Lakers have been to the playoffs 23 times, the finals 10 times and won 6 championships.

Yep. that's an annual disaster alright.

This is 6 years later...Lebron left just last year, we have had 2 picks and both guys are 21 and 19...Who knows how they will pan out...A lot of people said Kyrie was a bust in the first 3-4 years

No one said Kyrie was ever a bust. People only questioned if he could stay healthy, which is still a valid question today. By year 2, Kyrie was already averaging over 22 PPG. Lebron went back to Cleveland primarily because of Irving. Cleveland's an utter mess right now, at least compared to what Miami was when Lebron left.

Agree. But since Kobe came into the league they've been pretty bad sans Kobe/Lebron.

Pretty sure we all know lakers' history is better than most if not all.
