I gotta say the Thunder are much better than I anticipated. A pretty good group of young guys that can actually hit shots. Just need to draft well the next few years.

And Westbrook what can I say? I love that guy.

They should put Embiid in a cell after that.

It was an homage...

Suns got screwed at the end and now have two losses by a combined 2 points. The fouls this season are out of control. They’re going to set a record for players getting fouled out.

I think this is pretty common at the start of the season. Refs call things super tight and then loosen it up as the season progresses until they swallow the whistle for the playoffs.

Draymond was 7-12 from the field tonight with 16 points. That’s huge for the team going forward. Contributions of offense and defense across the board tonight. Still a ways to go on both ends but this game helped me step back from the ledge temporarily.

yeah a stepping stone but New Orleans doesn't look good right now. Looks like Zion, when and if he comes back, will have to instill some defense in this team. Hart, Lonzo and Ingram are playing some good basketball but a lot missing from this team and no defense played at all.

Yikes, won't win many games giving up those points...just ask the Cavs last season

Draymond is the key if they want to win games

Booker wasn't arguing, looks like he was mad with himself. Fouls are always out of control

Lol. The guy scored like 11 straight pts from when they were down 2 until up 9. And got mobbed by the entire team at half court.

Probably the worst thing possible for Wiggins, now he feels like he is on top of the world...time to go back to playing like shit

Tyler Johnson is a double digit scorer off the bench who actually impacts the game a lot more than the stat-sheet indicates. So yes I would say he's more than JAG

He'd probably make the starting lineup on the Cavs
OK, but he's no better than guys the Cavs had in the G-league. I'd take Joe Harris over T. Johnson, for instance.

And, no, T Johnson is not starting over Sexton nor Garland. Osman is in the Cavs starting lineup. He's no more than a JAG is he?

Like when Kenny Lofton would hit homers then keep trying to hit them?

the g leaguers? still no?
so far we've got Whiteside and T. Johnson (neither provided by him so ignoring seems to be the choice).

whiteside qualifies, but not Johnson IMO as he is no more than a JAG.

TT another normal day at work. 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists...an unstoppable force

I'm gonna ignore his stat line & only focus on his +/- which was -19.

And another bigger center did not have his way with him.

Don't forget the 5 offensive rebounds.

Still not sure it's what you'd want from him when you are contending and have more studs but his offensive game has definitely improved a ton.

Between the 2 of them, the word weird is kind.
It's an NBA forum. Many Heat and Cav fans here compared to most other NBA teams.

And there's the irrational mentioned by Heat fans that we often question....followed by deflection like you provide.

Any luck with the G-leaguers?

ehhh....Johnson did get a big offer from the Nets---- but i mean, he is nothing special. Pretty much immediately after Riley gave that contract to Johnson i am sure he regretted it- and of course, he was unceremoniously dumped for Ryan Anderson's awful contract well before TJ's contract ended.

Joe Harris I think is better...and he was a G leaguer for us.
