Ohio (and California) shut things down before NY I believe? You would think they would be peaking first. I think they're getting a little ahead of themselves with the projections for NY and think it will still be a few weeks away, closer to the end of the month. NY is still getting around 10K new cases daily.

That's what I meant. NYC was under stay at home orders and still congregated to watch a stupid boat arrive. There will always be idiots that refuse to take it seriously everywhere, and they will only prolong this situation.

Well the death totals been about the same the last 2 days so there is a chance that we did hit our peak but let's see how the next few days go.

I don't know if we have peaked or not in terms of new daily cases, different testing rates make that hard to track

All that matters is death rates, which are less ambiguous. When they peak, we are on our way to beating this.

They are at a far different point than the US though. We still have states that doing little to nothing to impact the spread because it hasn't hit their states hard yet.
