I thought this was pretty hilarious...

Watch Kyrie's teammates respond (through their body language and facial expressions) to Kyrie's "leadership" during the loss last night:

If the Nets win games, that'll probably keep things copacetic. But if the Nets aren't winning... I'd be worried that the whole thing is gonna get Kyrie'd.

Fortunately for Kyrie he still has the "This team will be a championship contender when KD comes back" excuse, no matter how bad it gets.

Before even seeing him play I think he could be a Tayshaun Prince kind of player....now that is pretty good so I say that is his ceiling but you really never know. Beilein loves him so far.

Prince averaged 11 ppg 4 rpg 2.5 apg. 37% from 3. I could see him being a better scorer and rebounder...Prince's defense and versatility was his best attribute though.

Windler would be a perfect fit if he could be an excellent shooter alongside Garland and Sexton. Have the ability to drive and rebound from his position and just another defender out there. If it works out could be the perfect fit.

My first thoughts of Windler was Brent Barry. That's not a knock because Brent Barry in today's game would be so much better given his skillset.

Can't decide who's going to be better next to Steph and Klay, Lamelo or Wiseman.

That might be a comfort to Kyrie personally... but if Kyrie's teammates get rubbed raw in the mean-time, waiting on next season... that could be very bad for the Nets.

Looking at recent comments from guys like Mook Morris, and Al Horford, and Jaylen Brown... it's clear they did not relish playing with Irving... the guy just rubs people the wrong way.

I see Windler much more than a 3 point shooter though. I mean his college numbers say he can be a 6-7 rpg kind of guy and he seems to be a nice finisher. Idk maybe I am just being a homer but only time will tell. Haven't seen him play one NBA game so far

Well it depends on who you get for DLo. I don't think you want another DLo (as in Lamelo) on your W's team

Curry always has good bench reactions.

NBA Power Rankings: Opening-week thoughts for all 30 teams

Agree with most except Houston is too high and Miami is too low.

Also wondering why the 0-3 Pelicans are higher than the 2-1 Suns

Houston should not be 6, should be lower.
I think Brooklyn should be lower than 14. Looks like Kyrie and a bunch of guys. If it wasn't for Kyrie's GW they would be 0-3.
Atlanta at 16. They should be higher.
GS at 17. They should be even lower. They haven't been competitive.
Phoenix at 22. They should be higher. They barely lost to the Nugs and beat the Clippers. Not a bad start for a young team.

Very early though so not going to overreact about power rankings.

Seems like they base their rankings on what they think will happen moving forward. To me, if you are going to have weekly rankings it should only be based on what has happened to the date of the ranking.

do I think NO is better than Suns? Probably (especially if Zion makes a recovery)...but agree as of now Suns should be higher.

Really hard to get a read as all we've really seen was what he did at Belmont. Think he was a double double guy, but cannot see that happening in NBA.

For the 26th pick I'd take Brent Barry.

As noted to SD, I think rankings like this should be based on what you have done, not might do or are expected to do.....so I agree with your opinions.

Just not sure how much those numbers translate coming from Belmont.

Hope we find out soon.

Gonna wait a while as I said if it was turnup my apologies. I don't keep track of your individual irrational.

But do note you didn't correct him and let him know the guys who helped you beat the Bucks are G-leaguers.

I know the Cavs havent had much success developing players in the now G League, but the Heat have.
It makes way more sense to allow players with NBA type talent to play alot of minutes there, to continue to grow, vs cheerlead on the NBA bench or play limited minutes.

Where you at exactly? City or rural area? If it's rural can't help. City driving. All basic stuff. Make sure your vehicle has proper snow tires. Go under the speed limit. Give yourself plenty of room.

and if you need tire chains, use 'em...even if they are a pain in the ass to put on...

I put less into where college players played their careers than most. I care about production, but with any player it could be a hit or miss. If he has the mental toughness, desire to win and ability to progress on the fly ---he can make it in the NBA, if not, he will just be another guy. Just excited to see him play, if he doesn't workout, they missed out on a late 1st rounder...ohh well.
