I've heard the same. The team chemistry is the best I've seen since probably Showtime. These guys act like they actually enjoy playing together.

Most guys who are available on the buyout market are there for a reason and often times, it's for things that could fuck up team chemistry.

Having said that, they need to do something.

They can win a title as currently constructed, but it'll be damn hard and they'll need some help (like someone knocking the Clips out for them).

We keep hearing that they are going to kick the tires on Waiters and JR Smith, but haven't heard if anything's been scheduled.

I'm hoping that they know something (or at least think they do) that no one else does yet and that's what they're waiting on.

I keep seeing Harkless.

Problem with that is...

Knicks have to be willing.

Bigger issue, Harkless has to be willing.

Like the guy we traded him for, He actually wants to be a Knick.

Plus, not many teams are willing to sully up their 2021 cap on a fringe starter. So, his best path to getting paid is a sign and trade.

That's off the table if he's bought out. Knicks lose his bird rights.

He's 26. Getting paid might rank higher than ring chasing.

But, I don't know enough about Harkless to say one way or another.

But, he'd be a great fit for the LAKERS.

So, according to the jump, the players were regularly taunting the guy with songs using the word Thug.

Bone Thugs, Trick Daddy, Tupac etc.

I sided with the players when some people hammered them about this situation.

Looks like I was wrong. They were accusing him of SOMETHING.

I haven't heard the word racism used. But, it's not a far leap.

It just shows the difference between looking at actual games and knowing the game vs most of us with our "muh he's a bust with no motor" crap. Just check tape, use your head before making hot takes. System matters. Teammates matter.

Why?

There are only a handful of places for him to land.

I would have listed the Rox as a place he'd get some major burn. But, they just picked up 2 guys.

Obviously, he'd only do it to land on a team with at least a slight chance to win it all.

He can't go to the Clippers.

So, that leaves Celtics, 76ers, Lakers, Raptors, Heat...

Maybe he looks at Denver or Utah.

But, Lakers give him the most visibility and biggest role.
