The issue is @dtgold88 tried to make it sound like I talked up RWIII somehow.

That's a total, total misreading. I never talked up Robert Williams.

Rather, I talked down Marc Gasol.

My point to folks like @raptorlife4 is Marc is clearly on the downside of his career... can't think and talk about him like it's some other year. And I stand by that point.

Yeah, I understand your point.

But, I understand @raptorlife4 too.

Gasol clearly is not the same player he was when he won DPOY.

He has definitely lost a step.

But, like Iggy, you'd want a guy like him on your roster during a finals run.

Your positions aren't mutually exclusive.

I think this is the part @raptorlife4 and @dtgold88 are focusing on.

You did compare the two if a person is looking at it thru a narrow lens.

But, that wasn't your original point. Your argument got twisted somehow.

All you were saying is you had a ton of injuries to a core group of guys who were expected to be contributors.

You were not INITIALLY saying Williams > Gasol.

That wasn't your argument at all. You were simply listing games lost for rotation guys on YOUR ROSTER.

Maybe Thies, Williams wouldn't crack the rotation for other teams.

But, they were expected to be factors on yours.
