You suggested the Clippers game plan should have been to "let guys shoot".

Again: that's not only dumb because most NBA teams got guys like Beasley who can shoot (especially when you play them in a way that concedes the shot)... but because there's no need to game plan like that against a poor team like Minny.

Why pack it in against them? They don't have Shaquille O'Neil on the inside.

All of this bad arguing by you just to try to escape the clear explanation here: The Clippers dropped a turd and didn't play defense.

You said my "clear suggestion" was they let them shoot but you also said I implied they hit their shots "despite a strong defensive effort"

McFly?

as to your last comment...maybe why I asked someone who saw the game to elaborate.

Funny you've pretty much done some things you accuse me of doing.....start an argument where this is none, and you also made an absurd comment, contradicted yourself and as is your MO, you cannot man up and own it.

You be you.

Listen, the front office is fucking with you guys.

They trotted this Dude out there like he was a savior, sitting with the owner, to deflect from the simple fact that they lost ground after the deadline.

When that didn't work, they announced the Kobe Memorial.

At this point, I would bring in Jr, Waiters, Green and anyone else who could possibly help, on a 10 day tryout.

It can't hurt and they have to do something.

Burke and Evan Turner should be your long-term targets at this point.

Hey it is what it is. Can't blame a guy for wanting to spend more time with his family.

No doubt.

Didn't Marcus Smart hit like 11?

Lmfao
One guy gets hot... maybe it's one guy getting hot.

A whole team gets hot like Minny did last night... maybe (just maybe) it's the defense. ;)

I know you know.

Stand by every word? some of your words were that "my clear suggestion" was they let them shoot and you also said I implied they hit their shots "despite a strong defensive effort"

How could both comments of yours be right or comments you "would stand by"?

I guess if you'd rather be a child and not man up and own it when you mess up that's cool. You be you.

One drunken night in Vegas, I contributed to the effort.

Not sure how much it helped. But...

You know, I've never really had that kinda opportunity.

Never say never of course but I aint getting any younger.

Plus this "happily married" BS kinda gets in the way too.

You only got one kid?

I got 3. I'm crazy... I would have at least one more, but my missus put her foot down and said never again. :D

Vegas is a wild town... I been there once and coulda thrown caution into the wind, too...

... my "for-better-or-for-worse" level head held me back.

Dude, I have actually thought about it.

But, it would have to be thru adoption.

I actually only have 1 biological daughter.

My oldest is from my husband's previous relationship.

She's 2 years older than my other daughter. The court granted me custody of her, me not my brain dead husband, when she was 5.

He and I were not together when I adopted her.

She just turned 16 on the 4th.

  1. Lakers fans...
Y'all need to show Linda some love...lol

Before Darren Collison was seen at Thursday night’s Lakers-Rockets game, the team had conversations with the point guard to check his temperature on retirement. When word began to circulate recently that Collison had been working out and was interested in playing again in the NBA, Lakers forward Anthony Davis and Collison had a talk about his plans and how Los Angeles might fit into those, according to people who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

There also were people in Collison’s camp that had been in recent contact with Linda Rambis, the executive director of special projects and a confidant of Lakers co-owner Jeanie Buss, according to those with knowledge of the situation. That eventually led to the free agent heading to Staples Center on Thursday and visiting the Lakers’ locker room before sitting in seats next to Buss.

It's funny. Remember all of the mocking and shots that were taken at the Lakers FO? I even criticized them some, despite my decades long crush on Jeanie Buss.

Nobodies saying shit now. lol

I'm not saying the Lakers FO made themselves look good and that the criticism was entirely unwarranted. I love me some Magic and I know you do too...but it's amazing how much better they've looked since he stepped away.

The Lakers have never operated the way that most other teams in the NBA do. They have always been a collaboration. That's how Dr. Buss set things up and they seem to have done fairly well over the years.
