My comment was really directed at KAT. The others I give a pass because of their roster/injuries/suspensions. I just think KAT does very little to make the guys around him better

I get why you'd want him for your team. would think any contender who could use any help at the 4 or 5 would want him....especially if they don't need a shooter in those spots.

No doubt they could get it done if they had a 1st they could part with anytime soon. when's their next one they can deal?

It's been a while but the passing of Kobe takes me back to when I lived in Inglewood from 2003 to about 2006 or 2007 (not very far from the old Forum).....right in the middle of the Los Angeles Lakers dynastic run with Shaq, Kobe, and co.

If the windows were open and the Lakers were on TV.....you could hear the people in the apartment building I lived in, and people in surrounding apartments and honestly......the city of Los Angeles itself....hollering and moaning depending on the ebb and flow of the game. You didn't have to even be watching the game (if you weren't a sports fan).....but you knew what was happening.....for all the other sports like baseball and football, LA will always be first anf foremost, a basketball city.

With all due respect to @Mecca and other Clippers fans.....that's why Los Angeles will always be a Laker city. To me, it's the best way you can describe what the Lakers.....and Kobe meant to the city.
