LOL. Well that's part of the problem. There is no way to close to good value for a player like Embiid. So I don't really know how the Sixers can move forward really other than hope and pray they can make it work.

If the Sixers go on a little run without Embiid, there is going to be a LOT of questions.

Frankly, I don't think it is terribly mysterious.

1.) The Sixers have spacing issues on offense with both Simmons & Embiid as their lead dogs.

and to a lesser extent...

2.) The talents of Al Horford are not best emphasized when Simmons & Embiid are the lead dogs.

What I'm saying here certainly isn't novel... it's what a lot of talking heads have surmised, even Coach Brown has basically said as much.

Lamelo will be really good, don't fixate on all the noise. Still, the Warriors already have a few expensive PGs, and those lottery percentages could have them picking anywhere from 1-6 if the season ended today.

Dump the draft pick for what? They don't exactly have cap space to take on another player.
