It's still early. My best decision I think so far this year was ordering the lamb pappardelle at lunch todayGoing out instead of going home to watch the Heat lose was the best decision i made this year
That's the way it has been for me for the last five years - It's just too painful watching them lose game after game. The Heat are in third place in the Eastern Conference though - that's not a bad place to be. They could easily be in the finals with a bit of luck and hard workGoing out instead of going home to watch the Heat lose was the best decision i made this year
Now they need to maintain their lead - Davis was pissed that they blew the last oneanother high scoring first quarter for the Lakers...
Hawks got up by 18 points in the 1st quarter @ Boston tonight...
... somewhere between then and Atlanta losing the game, John Collins got hurt. Looks like it may be more than a minor injury.
The Hawks can't catch a break... I think there is actually an ok team there if they could just get everybody on the floor at the same time.
Tonight's game was a prime example of why the Lakers need a player like Darren Collison. The Lakers were comfortably ahead of the Pels most of the game, but the second Lebron went to the bench, the offense ground to a halt and the Pels cut the lead to single digits. It's like this pretty much every game. They have no guards capable of running an offense when Lebron sits
agreed. this game, last game, the game against the Clippers, etc pretty much have exposed that weakness...
giving up big leads on the regular like that will bite 'em on the ass big time if something ain't done about it...
This is a perfect example why the fans vote shouldn't count for the All Star game.
Tacko Fall's racked up 110,269 votes, 6th among frontcourt players. He's played in 3 games. Been on the court for a total of 11 minutes. And has 13 points & 7 rebounds.
Could not possibly disagree more.
This, imo, is exactly why they should only count the fan vote.
The All Star game is, always has been and always should be, the fans game. The fans are why the game exists in the first place.
It's about who the fans want to see. There have always been players voted to the all star game even though they didn't have the numbers/playing time to truly be in the game, but fans wanted to see them.
Whether it's been young guys who haven't earned it yet or old guys who are no longer all star caliber players, there have always been guys who really don't belong, but the fans wanted to see them.
If the fans want Tacko... they should get Tacko. There are All NBA teams, All Defensive Teams, 6th Man of the Year and Most Improved Player Awards, etc. that aren't about the fans.
If the players, media, etc. are going to be any part of it...they should do away with the fan vote entirely and quit marketing it as "the fans game."
And really those who have complained about this if you look at the 40 players listed (top 10 for each category per conference) if you wanted it based on most deserving how many are really out of place? A handful?Could not possibly disagree more.
