Maybe not.

And I hate his brand of basketball.

But he is absolutely a competitor and he cares about winning. And for all the jokes about his defense, he has gotten a lot better there. And IMO, it was a lot to do with CP3 holding him accountable.

just have to agree to disagree with you. I see nothing out of the guy to make me think he cares what happens as long as he can go to the strip club after the game.

I wasn't trying to be funny I genuinely was curious if that was improving too. Obviously still shitty but at least getting better.

Fg% down to 38 though.

This guy is such a bust for where he was drafted

Pels are petitioning the league to see about the possibility of a designated free throw shooter.
Hey, man....

Y'all need to scoop up Collison post haste.

He'd be a starter for you. But, 3rd string for the Clippers.

I was actually surprised that he retired.

Guy can still play. Unfortunately, all his best years came as someone else's back up.

Not just him.

First 2 picks.

This guy was clearly the smartest in the room.

I think he wants to win.

But, like guys like Kobe, Westbrook....

He wants it to be by his hand.

It's a blessing and a curse.

Leave his defense aside for a moment... watching Harden off the ball on offense is why Houston is never gonna reach the promised land.

Seeming him stand stationary around 40 ft from the basket with one hand up calling for the ball makes me want to throw up in my mouth each and every time.

The modern NBA is so much about movement and team play... when push comes to shove, this is what a Harden-led team is always gonna lack.

I don’t disagree.

And yet, he is the most efficient ISO scorer the game has ever seen.

I hate his style. Hate watching him play. But it is unfair to say that a Harden led team will always lack. Because they came very close to beating an all time great team in 2018 despite all that.

It's odd.

I loved this style of play when it was Iverson dominating the ball.

Maybe it was the novelty of watching that midget soaring above the trees.

But, I absolutely DESPISE Harden.

Maybe if he was a 5 '10 shooting guard with tats and braids, I'd feel different?

I think it's how disconnected (to sum it up with one word) Harden is when he doesn't have the ball on offense... one can clearly see that he just doesn't have his heart in it.

Iverson was all grit and balls and effort on the court.

Also Iverson earned his free throws by flying into the lane. Not like Harden's unwatchable bullshit trickery

Ok. I concede it's within the realm of reasonable possibility that a Harden-led team can win a title.

That being said: the fact that Harden isn't connected to team play a substantial portion of the time when he is on the court is always going to be a meaningful hindrance to that goal.

He's turned into MCW 2.0. It's unfortunate. At least he's good on the defensive side of the ball. That should help him remain in the league for a while. Maybe he can eventually turn into Ricky Rubio, but even for as poor of a shooter Rubio is, he's a career 83% free throw shooter.

I see there's been some Lonzo B. Ballin' talk. I find it odd that when I mentioned his FT% when he was a Laker some defended it by saying he didn't get to the line enough & that's why his % is bad.

Lonzo (# 2 pick) & Tristan (# 4) pick. Many have said the Cavs were foolish taking him # 4 yet the Lakers gotta pass for using that # 2 pick on a PG that can't shoot or hit his FT's. :pound:

Funny stuff.

Yeah, you are right.

I was speaking more to the fact that they both dominate the ball and are 75 % of the offense.

Again, you are correct and that was a Shit example because Iverson paid a heavy price to get to the charity stripe.
