Seemed like they were at the time. Bam has far exceeded my expectations.

and, no, my original comments on Bam are not because you think I don't like the Heat. I have always liked Jimmy Butler and thought that was a great acquisition by them, for instance.

I’ve never implied you were anti Heat.
Bam is a monster.
His ceiling in unknown.

And here you are, still taking that quote out of context as some kind of validation that your opinion was reasonable.

Bam was showing signs of this breakout last spring. Just because @bksballer89 was realistic with his stat projection doesn’t mean he didn’t recognize the obvious talent. He certainly did.

Watching Bam last year, it was obvious Whiteside had no future here.
Thats not a knock on Whiteside, its just that every factor was in Bam’s favor.
Hes already tons better this year from what we saw last year.

Yet a fan of his team thought he'd put up the same numbers TT has put up. Should I do what others would do and just not even admit I was wrong about him?

Guess I could do what most would do and deflect.......Also bat shit crazy to think Drew Brees is not elite, but that is your opinion.

Numbers dont really accurately portray the difference between them.
You need to watch both play, and you can easily see where Bam excels.

NBA game results are often random.
Warriors/Rockets prob will end up being the most competetive.

Yep. There is a moron on twitter killing the nba for the celtics/raptors and bucks/sixers games.

That is 4 of the top 5 teams in the east. Isn't the NBA fault Siakam got hurt last week and Milwaukee had a bad night?

lol

Looks like we might need a TT vs. Bam thread.

Whiteside is still better than TT, and Bam just sent his ass to the bench, then to Portland. That would be the shortest lived thread on this forum. Ain't even close.

I really have no interest in this current game. But I bet a team from Los Angeles win the next one.

Teams need top 5 or better picks to find good players, according to some, who are no longer here.

That's so Knicks. KAT is great on offense but like Harden his D is terrible and he's not gonna get you a title as your #1

I don't see the problem with them going after Towns if that tweet is true. If you can't acquire a star through free agency then the common sense thing to do is try to acquire one via trade.

I don't think they're expecting Towns to win them a title. I'm sure they know they would need at least a couple of pieces but getting a top 10/15 type of player is the first step in the right direction.

That's fair
I just think KAT is overrated and not a "superstar"

Not sure he's a top 15 player either. Maybe late top 20.
