They never give specifics. There's a reason it is called personal reason. Last year Russ wife had twins and he missed a game or two. You think OKC came out and said that? No

Once again it is called personal reasons. You clearly have no idea what that means
bull fucking shit

you always hear--- oh --- so and so is on leave because his wife is having a baby....so and so is on leavue because he had a death in the family.

Jimmy Butler cant make the game because he did some stupid shit and the Heat dont want to out him on Day 1 of a 150M dollar guaranteed contract.

As i said

its no coincedence that out of aLL of the top 30 players in the NBA- its Jimmy Butler missing Game 1 because of personal reasons

as i said

if you would tell me one of the top 30 players in the league would miss the game for "personal reasons" after getting a BOATLOAD of guaranteed money- my first, second and third guess would be Butler

but dont worry---- you will realize the mistake that was made well before that contrat is up just like you did Whiteside--- you defended him voraciously for years until you finally got the clue-bird.

hopefully you open your eyes sooner than later on this one

but if i were you- after giving the moron 150M guaranteed- what else can you do? you gotta ride or die with Jimmy Butler at this point and that is a situation that i would HATE HATE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE to be in.

Do basketball comes before family? It is a yes or no question.

Questioning a player about missing a game over family issues is as low as you can get.

A few weeks ago Waiters missed 3 or 4 days due to personal reasons.

Turned out a family member passed away.

You're a real piece of shit

I disagree. I am very confident that he can go lower.

So now Wiggy wants teams to come out here and release the personal reasons that a player is missing time. Yeah that'll go over well
happens ALL THE TIME when its legitmate

you always hear---- X's wife is giving birth and X player is on paternity leave----- X had a death in the family and will miss the next 2 games

when you hear "its all good, its fine" and there are no specifics you know its just stupid horseshit that you could expect from a guy like Butler who does not deserve the benefit of the doubt IN THE SLIGHTEST.

this shouldnt be a surprise to anybody.

when you have a guy on his 4th team in 5 years- there is a reason that happens when he is a top 20-30 talent---its because teams realize that this is the type of bullshit you have to deal with.

150M guaranteed

"its fine- its all good"

How dare the Heat give a max contract to a top 20 player. Heat can sign Giannis tomorrow and it will be a horrible deal.

oh, come now...

you didn't REALLY think he'd miss a chance to go after the Lakers or the Heat, the 2 teams he despises the most because of their fans here...

he is an asshole that does not get the benefit of the doubt

when you are a top 30 talent and on your 4th team in 5 years and have the type of crybaby tantrums and bullshit that Butler has had--- you dont get the benefit of the doubt.

if it quacks like a duck

and swims like a duck

and looks like a duck

you can pretty much assume- its a fucking duck.

If I was to pick a young duo in the NBA- Morant and Jackson Jr. would be EXTREMELY high on my list.

Griz are gonna be a good team once those guys get close to their primes. That might be 3-4 years out- but they sure as hell have the core.

Both teams shot like ass...
  • a lot of new faces
  • 2 good defensive team
  • opening night jitters
It all equals ugly basketball.

Cavs have actually played a decent game tonight.

If Clarkson and Porter didnt shit themselves they mightve had a shot to win this game.

Gotta say- TT looks pretty solid.

I am looking at a box score of the Griz/Heat game-- and man- as much as i think Morant and JJJ are gonna be a great combo in the future--- Neither cna legally drink and the rest of the roster is absolute hot garbage.....good lord that is a bad bad NBA team that is going for another high pick.

who is their best veteran player? Valunciunas?

Tyus Jones maybe? Jae Crowder ?

BAD

real real bad

whatever made the Lakers give up on Thomas Bryant absolutely confounds me.

Wiz do not do too much right- but getting Thomas Bryant--- a 22 year old with that size and athleticism- was one helluva coup.

I highly doubt this guy is ever gonna be an all star level player--- but he absolutely can/might be a starter in the league for a long time and a solid player. They would love to have him back---the type of cheap cost-controlled rookie that every team needs when they have stars on high priced deals.

Philadelphia is gonna be a monster on defense this season... they are so long and tough.

They've suffocated Boston all game long so far... almost every shot has been contested in a meaningful way.
