@ChiefsLakers67

You were right.

Never trust the fucking Suns.

:L

Did y'all hear those fools chanting Taco Tuesday?

They are legit outraged here that LeBron tried to trademark that Shit.

But, bitch you lost.

Shut your pie hole and stop the trolling when it's 30 seconds left in a game that you are clearly gonna lose.

@WiggyRuss Any thoughts on the game last night?

I thought you guys did a nice job on the boards.
58-56, CLE won the points in the paint battle.
Both teams shot dreadful from 3.

Didn't see too much from Garland or Osman, but TT held his own against Embiid.

Good game. Looks like getting an actual point guard was just what the doctor ordered for the Suns.

Ayton definitely would have helped you guys. Between, AD, Javale and Dwight, every time Baynes turned around he was having to deal with a different 7 footer.

At one point, late in the game, the Lakers had outscored the Suns 70-46 in the paint. Ayton would have helped close that gap.
Helped.

But, the Lakers would likely still win.

They carved the Lakers up in transition.

That's how you beat them.

Ayton's not helping much there unless he's able to sling that K Love touchdown pass.

Looks like Kaminsky has found his niche.

I liked the one two punch rotation of bully, bowling ball Baynes and Frank.

Contrasting styles.

Definitely played them a lot closer than I thought once I heard Harris and Simmons would play. As mentioned earlier, too much 1 on 1 play and not nearly enough assisted baskets (13 of 38).

agree Osman did little....some had to do with ball not moving. Truth be told, I'd like to see Garland taking more 3s.

Despite what a certain poster has said, TT almost always holds his own against the top big men (or outplays them). Embiid definitely made more plays in crunch time.

I got nothing as to why he'd get the shots and the ball...looked like the type of foul you'd see a couple times a game.
I'm unclear on why they got the ball.

I thought they only got shots and the ball on clear path and techs.

Maybe that's the new rule on flagrants.

You can't ZSA ZSA guys anymore. It's a flagrant 1 and he was behind the 3 pt line.

It's weird.
It felt like Embiid didn't have much of an impact on the game.

But, then you look at his stats :
35 minutes, 27 points on 20 shots, 3 of 5 from beyond the arc, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks, only 2 turnovers

I think, as homer 76ers fans, we are so focused on wanting him to be healthy and/or in shape that we don't recognize a tremendous effort unless it's 30+ points and/or 20+ boards.

I've said this before...

But, Garland will be your guy, long-term.

I think Porter will be his backcourt mate.

Sexton, Clarkson, TT are trade bait.

Maybe not this Season for Sexton.

But, the other 2?

By February, yep.

Many teams could use the kinda production TT is giving.

But, options will be few because of his salary.

Clarkson would be good for the Rockets are Lakers.

Not sure what they have to trade though.

Maybe they still win. The Suns aren't contenders, but they are a tough out. That team doesn't stop playing hard. Every time I thought the Lakers were about to put the game away, the Suns would go on a run and get close or take the lead.

Assuming you are talking about his full court drive I agree....though had to at least be impressed with his ballhandling.

He had a guard on him and Garland was wide open. Blew my mind.

Clarkson had a great game but there were a couple times guys were wide open with the shot clock running down and he threw up a bad shot. You gotta live with those with him though, that's who he is.

Already considering how to trade Tobias for TT.

TT shooting the 3 better.....

He was spent at games end.

He gave his all.

Dude is a complete savage.

Just keep him healthy.

the Cavs played some really good D but the ball stuck and the Sixers did a really nice job on the offsensive boards

TT mentioned something poignant in the psot game that the Sixers take a lot of 3's and those generate a lot of long rebounds and they have such a big, long team that they get a lot of 2nd chance opportunities and those kind of killed the Cavs.

The Cavs played a good game but the ball was just not moving towards the end. Love said he thought for sure he buried the shot but just missed it.

I mean- it was fun. Def. not the worst thing in the world for the Cavs to take the L there, but its fun to seee them in a real fight vs. a good team.

Thompson is playing the best ball of his career and even made 2 three pointers which is starting to get interesting.

To be fair, the ball had been poked loose into the backcourt, so he was trying to beat the shot clock.
It just looked fairly amusing at the time, especially considering the score and time left in the game.

Yeah he was but when he dribbled a couple times there was still around 6 on the shot clock. Garland was calling for the ball in the frontcourt wide open. I thought he would pass him the ball but instead he continues and chucks up a 30 footer lolzzz

Weird and crazy stat though. Tristan through 10 games just this season has MADE TWICE as many 3 pointers than Ben Simmons has ATTEMPTED in his career.

i gotta say--- if TT could incorporate a semi-reliable 3 point shot into his game he could really make things very very interesting.

he is playing excellent basketball right now.

I do agree that last play by the Sixers was a great play. Osman should have left Simmons on the perimeter to try to intercept the pass, instead Embiid gets an easy layup. Hell of a play call though
