:ban:

Shit, I was only gone 5 hours?!?!

What was it this time?

Lemme guess.....

Mod power trip, Cavs run, rearranging the truth?

All of the above?....lol

I thought he had turned the corner.

Was it just with me?
Always been the same with you, my friend, as you do seem to base your comments on post and not poster. We've agreed and disagreed...as it should be in a sports forum.

This.

Miami had a dominant program in the late 90's and early 2000's. Coker is one of the worst coaches (ran a country club style program and Miami got complacent) that ever came through Miami. And in his first year post-Butch Davis, managed to breeze into a national title. But every subsequent year, you saw the program get in worst shape until one day, Miami hit rock bottom by getting smashed by LSU. Day's doing what he's supposed to be doing given that he's taking over one of the greatest coaches to ever play the game.

You judge Day as a coach when you see what Ohio State looks like in year 3/4 of his tenure.
Fair point, but cannot ignore the team looks far better this year than it did last year. Day brought in new coaches to completely revamp the defense and SO FAR they have not allowed bad teams to hang or even beat them as happened often last year.

Yes. Winslow starts at PG.

Unless they find a trade partner, it is hard to see them keeping Waiters on the bench as he'll just become a cancer. He is better than the guy who is currently playing that role.

Winslow is your full time PG? Wow. I haven't watched a lot of Heat so far this season but that certainly isn't something I envisioned. Will he be covering guards?

ehh it depends. Him, Nunn, & Butler are all around the same size so it more depends on what Spo and the coaching staff thinks

Another bye. Ugh. Just going by memory, but really only 1 good game, right (UGA/UF)? Of course, I'll watch some of the others.

Having watched Butler last year quite a bit I can say that you really don't want him chasing guards around a lot.

I hadn't realized that Winslow had become such a good ball distributor.

Yeah I think Nunn will guard the guards much more than Jimmy. Didn't realize how short he was lol (6'2) but yeah last year when Dragic missed most of the season, the Heat realized PG is the best position for Winslow.

I'll start a round of Kumbaya if you want.

All kidding aside really no one here I don't like. sports would be boring if we all agreed.

I agree with that but also not a fan of debating the same topic for days when we will never agree on a topic.

Next 4 games will tell me something about this team. Hoping for 2-2 but 3-1 would be amazing

VS HOU
AT DEN
AT PHX
AT LAL
I agree....Beating Atlanta twice without Young and Memphis at home tells you little. Though huge win at Milwaukee is nice.
