I wasn't really trying to downplay the Heat. I think they are playing well. They were definitely one of the teams I was having the toughest time projecting. They could be a #3 seed or they could be out of the playoffs and it wouldn't really surprise me. Right now it's looking a lot more like the 3 seed is in play.

I do think it is highly unlikely that Dunn is going to average 22 points a game or the team will continue to shoot almost 40% from 3.

I think 3-5 seed is likely. I doubt Nunn will average 22 as well but they don't need that from him. They'll be perfectly fine if he is at 12-14 PPG.

I think the bigger question is whether you can expect to get 30+ minutes from Herro and Dunn for the entire season.

why insert yourself in this one? I can just see 1/3 of the comments and it is the most grinding, stupid, tedious, useless arguments i have ever seen. It makes TT v. Whiteside the most interesting story in the world.

How many days of high school/post high school education do you think the 3 possess combined?

its not even funny trolling- not in the slightest.
8 for me.

While I think you sound foolish with your Butler comments, for instance, I wouldn't tell you to stop making them.

want to rip a player for missing a game without knowing why he's out? Strange, but have at it.

You do you.

Once Waiters is back and in shape, they won't need it.

I think those guys will be in the mid to high 20's if we're ever healthy.

Guessing the bench rotation will be the following

Dragic
Herro
Waiters
Kelly
JJ/Jones Jr/Silva (if they ever sign him to a standard NBA deal)- depending on the matchup.

You really think that Waiters is going to be a big contributor to the team? Really?

It's capitalism...they get what the market offers

I remember when people were outraged by Nolan Ryan becoming the first $1 million per year athlete...in 1980
Pretty sure not long before that - mid-late 70s) the Tribe signed wayne garland to a crazy deal for $2.3 mil......over 10 years.

Dragic is a bench player?

Yes. Winslow starts at PG.

Unless they find a trade partner, it is hard to see them keeping Waiters on the bench as he'll just become a cancer. He is better than the guy who is currently playing that role.

They haven't changed. Which is a good thing. lol
If I remember they seemed like they were fried and the meat tasted more like a spaghetti sauce than a taco suace...but as I said, been a while (just remember them being so good)

do you have an El Pollo Asada or El Pollo Loco near you? Used to love their chicken burritos.

I’m here to talk basketball and would love to continue to do so.

But apparently any sort of abuse thrown at me, or the 30+ notifications I’ve had this morning need to be met with complete silence.

So be it.

It's simple don't respond and if the others would stop initiating that would help too

Good. It'll give you something to work on when you're not posting here anymore.
Knowing I have the issues is the first step...and, yeah, I could stop anytime (not sure same is true of a couple others).

Will you need to step away to work on your need to control your power trips?

Exactly. It is real simple. I usually only respond to certain people. I may give those others the time of day once in a blue but once i see it is going nowhere then i move on

They look good. The question is...can the new coach sustain it? He wouldn't be the first coach to continue to do well with his predecessors players, but then drop off considerably after 3-4 years.

Having said that, they look really good and deep as well.
That was definitely a concern, but he didn't really lose many (or any) of the key recruits from last year's class by Meyer after he stepped down. Pretty sure his 2020 class is considered top 3, and just saw 24/7 has them ranked 4 for 2021 after bringing in Harrison, Jr.

But we'll see.....and a long way to go this year with some tough matchups coming.
