Memphis has a little bit of a shot because the Blazers don't really play defense. So, if they have an off night on offense, the Grizz could beat them.

Unfortunately, the Grizz have to beat them twice and that's not happening.

Blazers will almost certainly be the Lakers' opponent in the playoffs.

But i'm hoping Memphis forces them to a 2nd game by winning today. Get the Blazers hella tired for their first match-up on Tuesday when the Lakers have just had 4 days off (longer for AD and Kuz who sat out against the Kings)

I remember game 1 of Heat season this year, when Heat had a hard fought game vs Memphis.
Some here said they would be one of the leagues worst. I said they had talent and were going to be a scrappy team which would improve over the course of the season.

Portland might win, but they'll have to earn it.

I have no reason to doubt he could average 40 a game in a series against the Lakers.

No one really.

I posted the other day that I think they will need to take a page out of the Nets book and trap him early to get the ball out out of his hands.

Also, give him different looks and as much as possible, make him drive into the paint where he has to deal with the Lakers size.

End of the day, it'll likely be a bit like the old Jordan Rules where you just accept that he's going to get his points, but you try to make him work hard to get them.

Also, as @Shaqdaddy11 pointed out, he's had to score 61, 51 and 42 in the last 3 games for the Blazers to barely win against average teams. It's really hard to win a 7 game series against a good team that way.

Having said that, if there's a guy in the league right now who could probably do it...it's Dame.
