2019-2020 Official Regular Season Thread

I guess I could see discrediting them some in the sense they don't mean much today.....but that would be true of all franchises who have titles from long ago, whether they moved or not.

I mean, the Browns have a ton of titles, and I guess I'm a little proud of their history but hard to care all that much if I only saw highlights (as would be the case of the majority of living Browns' fans, sadly).

Exactly. They're nice to have and nice to see the history. But I think most fans care about the titles they've seen. I've seen all of the titles the Lakers have won since they've been in LA. So, I care more about those than the ones from the 50's before I was born.

They still count, but they don't mean as much. I would feel the same if they were won in LA.

Interestingly though, I like the Showtime titles more than the more recent ones. I think because that is my all time favorite era of the NBA.

I hear ya....I liked the late 80s, early 90s Cavs far more than the title team....even though not as recent I wish they won a title over the more recent winners.

I will take this with a grain of salt TBH. Maybe if the Warriors are out of the playoffs picture then he will just sit out. If they're in the hunt, I still fully expect him to return.

Yeah, I thought so too. I'd think they'd want the threat that Klay will be back.

On the other hand, maybe they don't want to have to deal with "When will Klay be back?" questions all season long?

I guess they could always still bring him back if they feel he's ready at some point.
