I can understand liking Jaylen Brown's deal over Hield's because of the age gap.
But, compared to Dejounte Murray's deal..... yikes!

It likely won't be a major problem until the playoffs... and the C's have to play either Milwaukee or Philly.

In the regular season, they'll be fine I think. I like Theis at starting center with a committee behind him... most teams don't post up and work from the paint anymore.

Theis is actually a very solid team defender.

As for playoff time and without factoring in any moves... the hope has to be that Robert Williams makes significant progress over the course of this season.
I do think the Cs can be a good team but still have huge issues at C no? Theis could not even beat out Baynes who is JAG.

I don't see Lonzo staying in NOLA past his contract unless the team really over performs.

He seems like the kind of guy who wants to have his own say in where he plays.
Think it depends on how much influence Daddy Ball has when the time comes.

so hard to know what matters to these guys. But I agree winning will play a big role. Or at least on verge of winning a lot.

Yep.

You're #2.

Better than having a goose egg.

But, the Celtics still hold the crown.

The Minny titles is as stupid a argument as some make about the Celtics winning several in the early years, with fewer teams, and lower talent.

Still counts.
I guess I could see discrediting them some in the sense they don't mean much today.....but that would be true of all franchises who have titles from long ago, whether they moved or not.

I mean, the Browns have a ton of titles, and I guess I'm a little proud of their history but hard to care all that much if I only saw highlights (as would be the case of the majority of living Browns' fans, sadly).

I don't think Daddy Ball has as much influence anymore. There were reports when he was still with the Lakers that he was starting to take control of his own career. Hopefully, that has continued.

Agree re: winning though. They have some good young talent on the Pels, if Zion's injury is a one time thing, they could be a real good team for quite awhile.

Klay unlikely to comeback this season @CitySushi @msgkings322
Not upset at all. Better him sitting the entire year than potentially rushing back. Some of this I think is for Klay too. Dude ran back on the court to shoot free throws with a torn acl. He’s the type of guy who just wants to be out there.

I don't think he will be as good as Blake
That's because Blake is a point forward.....NOW.

Outside of his shit defense, he's a brittle version of Ben Simmons with a jumper.

Zion is not a creator. But, no reason he can't get better at it.

Blake wasn't this his first 2 years in the league.

Like Zion, his offensive repertoire consisted of jumping over everybody and not much else.

Both are also chronically broken.
